While there were several key wins we should celebrate, we lost the big races for Governor and U.S. Senate. These were tough, tough losses, and they were completely avoidable.

Of course, with such a tight margin, there could be a hundred reasons to explain why we lost. Some were frankly out of our control, or the result of our opponent’s strategy, or decisions that could be debated back and forth forever.

I want to focus this podcast on one decision by the Florida Democratic Party leadership to abdicate the responsibility of organizing our field operation in the largest Democratic Counties.

Instead, that responsibility was outsourced to outside groups.
