I'm Michael Teshome, a lawyer, co-author of a book called Arbitration in Ethiopia, Director of Ethiopian Mediation & Arbitration Center. Given the stay-at-home advice, I decided to begin podcast which enables me to reflect on legal matters that I consider to be worthy of discussion. My first podcast is prepared in Amharic because the issues which I raise are more explained in the Ethiopian working language. Corona is brining a lot of economic and social crisis. Poorer countries will feel the heat much faster when compared to the developed nations. In this episode, I comment on an issue which is brewing fast: burglary & theft. The government must use all its security apparatus to contain the matter which may be exacerbated by unemployment. People will be tempted to mistrust the government unless a measure is taken.
