Vic Verchereau welcomes Luanne Wills-Merrell, who is a Manager in the Federal Aviation Administration.

A native of Lansing, Chicago resident Luanne Wills-Merrell, currently is a Manager (ASI to the Aviation world!) in the Federal Aviation Administration. She has accumulated a multitude of achievements over her remarkable career. Most recently, Wills-Merrell was inducted into the Illinois Aviation Hall of Fame as the first Black female ASI in American history. She said she spent every day just doing her best and cannot believe where the journey has taken her. In addition, She was named by the Theta Rho Beta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority’s “Woman of the Year”,

Vic Verchereau had a chance to sit down to hear about her incredible life. From Lansing Community College to the Aviation Hall of Fame, this energetic leader takes us on a fun ride through her career. A MBN show first, this leader has her own day named after her in Lansing by Mayor Andy Shore.
