Throughout my years of fitness coaching with a wide spectrum of clients, I have often emphasized the importance of a well-rounded and balanced fitness program.
This is even more so for any mid-life or senior fitness program where one's overall well-being, quality of life and fitness longevity are greatly-influenced by how balanced and holistic a fitness program is.
In this episode, I will briefly discuss the different elements or components of fitness, namely: cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular fitness, balance, flexibility and mobility/movement - all of which play a significant role in the overall fitness of any older adult being.
