In today's episode, we speak with Karina Wiedman, a London-based actor and writer from Kazakhstan who has lived internationally. Karina spoke with us about the underground theatre scene in Belarus, the chain of responsibility in casting and how it might be more inclusive of international actors, and her debut play The Anarchist, winner of the inaugural Woven Voices Prize.

The Anarchist is the headline play of Jermyn Street Theatre's 2022 Footprints Festival, performing from July 6th to July 30th.
