Hazardous Weather Outlook. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin. Day one. Today and Tonight. Thunderstorms become likely across southern Wisconsin later tonight. An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible, producing damaging winds and large hail, mainly west and southwest of Madison. Days two through seven. Sunday through Friday. Periods of thunderstorms are expected Sunday and Monday. These repeated rounds of thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall and possibly localized flooding. In addition to the risk for flooding, a few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible during this time. A Moderate swim risk is expected at Lake Michigan beaches on Sunday due to higher waves. Breaking waves and currents are expected. Stay away from dangerous areas like piers, breakwalls, and river outlets. There will be a chance for thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and night, and again Thursday and Friday. Spotter information statement. Spotter activation may be needed at times Tonight through Monday.
