This episode is an interview Hadley had with Cindy Cole, LMFT, LPC.  Cindy is the Director of Individual and Family Therapy, with the organisation Timberline Knolls in the USA.​In her role, Cindy oversees the therapy staff, which consists of 40 clinicians.  She also works with management to focus on issues related to compliance, program development and interdepartmental collaboration.Prior to Timberline Knolls, Cindy was the Intake Clinical Supervisor at Gateway Foundation in Aurora, IL and a part of a group private practice.  She worked at The Larkin Center, a group home for foster children and adolescents.  Cindy was also affiliated with Community Youth Network, where she provided individual and family therapy to children and adolescents in the DCFS system.​Cindy received her undergraduate degree in Sociology/Criminology from Northern Illinois University and her Masters in Marital and Family Therapy from Northwestern University’s The Family Institute.  Cindy is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.​On the podcast we spoke about the family’s role in the recovery process.
