This week mind medicine podcast is with Dr. Daniel Krawczyk, Deputy Director of Research at The Center for Brain Health at UT Dallas.

Dr. Krawczyk is a Cognitive Neuroscientist who specializes in reasoning and decision making. Dr. Krawczyk has led multiple federally funded research studies to evaluate thinking and cognitive performance. His lab uses a diversity of research methods, including behavioral studies, machine learning, brain imaging and brain stimulation. His work has focused on reasoning by analogy, decision framing and cognitive improvement.

Brandt and Dr. Dan discuss what neuroscience is, how we reason internally, the importance of values, behavioral bias, and so much more. They also dive into Mission 38’s Brain Optimization Lab and Dr. Krawczyks involvement on the Scientific Advisory Board.
