On this episode of That’s some cool $h!t, Eric and I go deep into the dynamics between guys and girls, relationships and dating apps, discussing the importance of…

How has Tinder, bumble and other dating apps affected new age relationships. Was it easier for older people to develop relationships?

Discussing the actual benefits of dating apps compared to the old days. Eric and I then jump into discussing girls in Spain and the cultural conflicts between the sexes as an expat in Spain. The difference in men in Spain, what woman look for and see as manly compared to Australia and USA. Noticing the big difference between countries and cultures, girls aren’t the same from country to country and it changes the dating game dynamic greatly. Eric’s experience with girls in Spain and their incorrect perceptions of him as an African American.

Do pheromones play a role in our vibe/attraction to someone? Eric worked at Victoria secret for 2 years, turns out even if we use the same cologne/perfume, it still gives each of us our own individual scent dependent on our skin and natural body odor. Our natural smell and hormones draw people unconsciously towards us.

Do we unknowingly pay attention to someone’s genetic traits as it appeals to us as a potential mate because it increases the chance of producing healthy offspring?

The need to continuously respark passion in a long-term relationship to maintain appeal to your partner. Actions speak louder than words when it comes to pleasing your loved one. The importance of finding a partner who speaks, or can appeal to your love language.

The key importance of sitting down with your partner and discussing face-to-face, your wants and needs in a relationship, to grow a deeper connection and to be on the same page as you, as to what you would like out of the relationship is extremely important. It all comes down to communication, and sharing your desires and needs can help the relationship.

Eric’s crazy idea about how much better it would be if everyone in the community had group activities so people aren’t strangers and can communicate and know the people around them.

Why its so important to focus on yourself, to learn and understand more about yourself so that you can provide and treat not just your partner better, but other people better too.

Men and women bring different things to the table, different qualities, better and worse, have we lost touch of our understanding and appreciation for what the opposite sex can provide us in long term relationships?

Full circle, bad guy turns nice girl into a mean girl, mean girl then turns the next nice guy into a bad guy, that bad guy then goes and turns a good girl into a bad one, and the cycle goes around and round. How can this ever-ending process be broken?

In a world with less technology, would we put more effort and courtship into our relationships? But has courtship disappeared because chivalry has died? But has it died because it is no longer appreciated by women as they can do things on their own now? We are all in disagreement with Alabama’s new abortion laws, but is there another side to it?

Thanks for listening to another episode of That’s some cool $h!t. I hope you enjoyed the controversial topics and questions raised in this final segment of the trilogy with Eric Pye.
