Find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed and turn off all notifications. Request you are left in peace for the duration of the practice. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and make sure you are warm enough during your practice. 

Remember there is no right or wrong way to meditate,  there is simply just practice. Try not to rate your meditation experience as either good or bad, just observe your experience for what it is today and be comforted in the knowledge you have simply made time to take care of yourself today. 

If your mind wanders off at any time, remember this is completely normal! Simply acknowledge your thoughts, let it go and guide your awareness back towards your breathe.
