In this Halfer episode, I continue on the subject of what is mistakenly and ignorantly  labeled  "mental Health." Seeing as how our bodies are 100% interconnected and interdependent.... Just like everything else that has ever existed in this universe. While neuroscience is playing a key role in the Field of Trauma-informed behavioral sciences. Discoveries like the Poly-Vagal Theory (not a theory), our Fascial Tensegrity network, the hearts role in communicating with the brain via the Vagus nerve, how we hold trauma, fear, and other unprocessed emotions in our body that then lead to Muscle and connective tissue tension, and inevitably a whole slough of common diseases including but not limited to, Cancer, Rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, HBP, Obesity, Etc Etc. We CAN heal ourselves. Let me one more time, WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO HEAL OURSELVES. Thoughts have REAL effects. The Frequency with which our heart beats and its correlation with the brain wave frequencies HAS SOME SERIOUS IMPLICATIONS!!!!
