I feel very sorry for Sneha's family when I listen to this podcast. The host seems amateur, the scripts are written poorly (first episode: Who is sneha really? who is sneha? who is sheeeeee?!"), and they do not do a good job at all of presenting Sneha in a positive light or tellling the story of her life as they claim they will. It's just another crime drama, where the entertainment comes from wanting to solve the mystery, rather than genuine care for Sneha's life or her family's true wishes (the family are not involved in this podcast at all and I'm sure they wished it never happened). Too often podcasts use the excuse of a large listenership for crime stories as an excuse to do whatever they want. I personally believe they should have more morals and only make podcasts about crime stories when the families requested it and are directly involved. The interviews are performed poorly, the editing is bad and it's all round amateur-city, I'm afraid to say. Of COURSE it retraumatises a family to publicise their worst moment and cause the world to start talking about it against their wishes. If you don't believe that, you don't have much empathy or understanding of grief.
It's obvious that the recent reviews by "Claire" and "donna" are fake because its exactly the same review but posted from different accounts. I guess the podcast creators did that because they weren't happy with the negative reviews. That's really unprofessional and poor journalism. I can't believe they'd act that way. In terms of my review of the podcast itself, I also feel like the podcast is inappropriate without the consent of Sneha's family. Seems like no one is requesting this podcast except the creators themselves. Main voice is annoying
Interesting story which could be told in a couple of episodes. Feels a bit dragged out with repeated interview clips or mentions of people who declined to be interviewed. I sense more episodes with nothing much new to learn.
