This Mixtape Assembly is curated by the west London rapper/producer Suspence MC, aka Simon Spencer, a founding member of the hip-hop/punk/ska collective La Rebla Fam.Simon is one of my oldest friends, and I know him to be someone who lives and breathes music. I remember him telling me how he spent his first few months on this planet fighting for his life in an incubator.
