In this, the first episode, the players find themselves as crew aboard a capital ship of the Stewards, The Endeavor, on their way to aid in scientific research. Along the way they come across a space yacht that has been flagged for illegal activity. The players board the ship to investigate, and find some very strange and unexpected things. Before it's all said and done, something catastrophic happens!
