Hello there! On today's episode, join me, your host Ayanda Silk, as I discuss the second episode of this series. We started with "why saying 'you're okay' is not okay". Today, we discuss why saying "give so and so a hug" is not okay. Our kids are their own people. They have boundaries too. If they don't want to give grandma or auntie or uncle or grandpa or their cousins, that's okay. It doesn't help us to teach our kids about setting boundaries only for us to drag them past their limit to appease family members. Let's start respecting our kids' boundaries. When they say no to a hug.  We NEED to respect that.
