Eric Kissack has worked on scores of big budget comedies from Daddy’s Home (starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell) to Horrible Bosses 2 (Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman). His outstanding work on the hit shows The Good Place and Veep garnered him two Emmy award nominations.

Listen in as Eric shares how his direction of his short film The Gunfighter impressed Nick Offerman so much, Nick welched on a previous deal with his wife (to never do short films), just to do Eric’s short film — earning Eric critical acclaim, and a bevy of awards in the process.

In this episode of Moment 2 Moment, Kissack transports us into the job of film editor, and what it’s like working with acclaimed megastars the likes of Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Sasha Baron Cohen — all, from the editor's perspective.
