Have you ever felt like you were walking through the fire? Everything wrong seems to be happening, the walls are caving in, it’s getting hot, you feel the testings and trials of life rushing in and you feel like you’re in the furnace and you don’t even know how you got there! You ask God, “What is going on?” You’re desperate for relief and asking God to come through. If you have felt like this at any point in your life these are not uncommon to man. These are the seasons of life where you are being refined through the fire. There are actually many instances that the bible refers to the “fires” of life. There are many stories of men and women being in seasons as such but what God does in these seasons are incredible. I was reading Psalms 66 today and it said this: 'Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling. You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver. You captured us in your net and laid the burden of slavery on our backs. Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, BUT you brought us to a place of great abundance. ' Psalms 66:9-12 It reminded me of the times we walk through the fires of life and just how hard it truly is, BUT how God doesn’t just leave us there, he walks us through and brings us to a place of great abundance. God will bring you out, do you hear me? He will bring you out of the fiery furnace. Just watch!
