Jen Tanner has been at RCA Records for over 8 years now. She initially started as an intern and then took on two roles to get paid before ultimately finding her way onto the brand partnerships team. She's worked on countless projects for artists like Kesha, Tate McRae, Khalid, SZA, and with brands like BMW, Dove, and Bacardi. In between all that, she's a champion of women and Latinos in the music business. Luckily, she was able to carve out some time to be our guest this week on the unsigned podcast.
In this episode, we talk about how she got her start in music, what her day-to-day looks like, and most importantly, what artists should be thinking about when building a relationship with their fans. Enjoy!
