#033.  Today’s guest is Nick Loper.  We get into Nick’s entrepreneurial journey and early childhood business ventures, including the business venture really hit him with the entrepreneurial bug in college.  We get into his first side hustle after landing a full-time corporate job after college and how he started the Side Hustle Show podcast almost out of peer pressure.

We discuss the benefits to having a side hustle in the first place (obviously other than the extra money!), and the main benefits really of having our kids start side hustles…because you can be never be too young to start one.  We spend a good chunk of time talking about the best or easiest side hustles that we should consider introducing our kids to, so that they can get started today.  

We talk about why Nick decided to write the $1,000 100 Ways book last year to showcase creative work within his community and the challenges he had in putting it together.  And he talks about some of his favourite side hustles from putting together that book.  We discuss the misconceptions people have in starting their own side hustle and if you yourself are struggling for ideas on what side hustle to start, he provides a simple way for people to come up with business ideas.
