Happy Halloween, ya'll! This spooky season, we're indulging another of pop's childhood favorites, one he hasn't seen in decades: Edward and Mildred Dein's Curse of the Undead (1959). Often cited as the first canonical "horror Western," this latter U-I shocker goes a little further than just putting a vampire in the Old West. Indeed, in an appropriate follow-up to our Season One episode on Dracula's Daughter, this story of passion, vengeance, and bloodlust goes in some... let's say queer directions.
