We finally return to the Universal House of Horrors! In this episode, we explore Rowland V. Lee's 1939 masterpiece Son of Frankenstein, the studio's first horror film since the Laemmles were given the boot in 1936. We also pay homage to the waning era of the "prestige horror film," ever prescient of the rebirth of the once novel genre as the almost exclusive terrain of B-pictures.
