Constitutional Law has never been so captivating. This show is a brilliant gift.
First two seasons are great as they look at Supreme Court cases, highly recommended for US history or law fans. The third season takes a left turn diving into the 33 amendments to the US Constitution (kind of interesting) and the songs they commissioned various artists to make about them (not interesting). If a season four ever happens I hope they revert to their original formula.
Radiolab is on the Mount Rushmore of podcasts. This spin-off show brings the teams amazing reporting and narrative skills into a more focused topic. I am speaking as a law student, so I am predisposed to enjoy a show about the Supreme Court, but I really do think this show twists the topic and makes it relatable while tackling some of the grandest issues of our nation. I do not need to sing the praises of the team because if you are reading this, you know that Radiolab is one of the best produced and edited shows out there. More Perfect lives up to that high standard.I would especially point people to the second season, which holds up as a tongue and cheek reimagining of the amendments that will teach you something and personalize some very esoteric political history.
A very thoughtful podcast about American democracy.
Such a great explanation of the history of the supreme court. I thought it would be boring and it was completely captivating. A Must Listen.
Navigates through the history of the Supreme Court by focusing on a different landmark case per episode. Enthralling. New favourite podcast.
This examination of the history and politics of the Supreme Court is as compelling and comprehensive as a spin-off of Radiolab ought to be and more.
