As a lifelong athlete, Brain Pennick joined the Marine Corps in 1986 and spent the next 25 years in the Marine Corps and Coast guard before joining the West Virginia Department of Corrections as a member of the elite Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT)-a division of the WVDOC’s Special Operations initiative.  Brian is nearing the end of his Tactical Life, and has extended his service through his 40’s with exercise and decent nutrition.
