Class is in session for the latest instalment of the Movie Squad podcast!

This week, Tristan Fidler and Simon Miraudo bring Breakfast host Pamela Boland two reviews of brand new cinema releases, while still finding time to debate the heights of prospective James Bonds and rank the best Ryans.

First up, Tristan reviews Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt's new action comedy The Fall Guy, based on the '80s TV show of the same name. The film features a post-Barbie Gosling as a stuntman looking for a missing movie star.

Then, Simon and Tristan both share their thoughts on the Oscar-nominated German drama The Teachers' Lounge, a nerve-jangling whodunnit set inside a pressure-cooker of a school.

Both films are now showing in Australian cinemas.
