I sometimes feel silly sharing that motherhood stripped me of my entrepreneurial spirit. Shouldn’t I want to “have it all?”

But just as getting an epidural in the final hours of labor does not equate to a “failed” attempt at natural childbirth, choosing to walk away from a business that no longer fits into my life is not a failure. It’s an empowered choice that I’m proud to make.
