Today, Jennifer Campbell joins for an informative discussion about multifamily investing in Houston. Jen is a Director on the “IPA Texas” team, leading their Houston operations. Over the course of her career, Jen has closed more than $1.5 billion in sales, representing over 30,000 units across the lone star state! 

While many outsiders find Houston a hard market to understand, its potential is clear. Incredible population growth, household growth, and in-migration keeps Houston as one of the fastest expanding metros in the US. Houston’s continual growth of population and supply attract and deter investors alike. In 2019, Houston added another 85,500 jobs – growing at 2.7%. It was the 25th consecutive month that Houston’s job growth had exceeded the national rate. 

Jen explains in this episode that when it comes to recessions, Houston’s the last one in and the first one out. With uncertainty hanging over the U.S. economy now is a great time to learn more about the Houston multifamily market.
