Vetted scooper with an accuracy rating of nearly 80%, DanielRPK has supplied us with another MCU rumor this week, claiming that Deadpool & Wolverine will undergo reshoots in May ahead of its July release. Reshoots are a normal part of any production, but with Deadpool being Marvel Studios’ sole feature film of 2024 and these taking place so close to the film’s release, do they give us cause for concern, or excitement?

James Gunn’s recent social media comments attempting to clarify Peacemaker’s status in the DCU canon, may have had the opposite effect. While addressing fan questions on Threads, the filmmaker stated that the first season of the John Cena led Max series is not canon and that the second season would take place after the events of Superman, going as far to confirm that movie’s events would have an impact on the show. Are we able to make peace with these somewhat contradictory revelations?

Similar to last year’s WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the primary focuses include wage increases, contract enforcement, "quality of life" aspects, and protections against emerging technologies, including AI. The current contract expires on July 31, potentially leading to a strike if an agreement is not reached in the coming months. Are we clutching our pearls yet?
