A: The song at the beginning and parts of this episode is on my Hollow Body Tradition Guitar and is called Blues del Viejo (Old Guy Blues). I started to play some chords this afternoon and decided to play it for this episode and get your feeling of it.

Also, I share with you my experience with my recent dog loss. Maybe you relate with me on this part when you lose a dear friend and partner in your adventures.

B. On this part, the music audio is a clip of Blues del Viejo, is a brief story of my early twenties when I had a job at a retail store and spent one thousand dollars in a stereo equipment. I was longing for my own music system and I went from place to place to purchase different parts like my Sony CD 5 Changer Players, my JVC’s receiver, Technics Speakers. It was and probably still my best stereo system.

C. On todays guest interview, I had the honor and privilege of talking with Mehran Alirezaee. We talked about music in Iran, his upbringing and story behind an old civilization and how he had Covid19 two times. I felt honored to be able to talk with Mehran and I hope this is not the only episode with him. We need more people like him in this World and as I always say: Music heals, music is powerful, music is the key for our happiness.

E. On the part of music, I talked about Jorge Morel and Chick Corea passing away to a new and better place leaving us with a deep sadness in our music scene. Both, in their respective genres, were pioneers and left an immense footprint in their students and those, like myself, who follow their careers.

In addition, I made a couple announcements pertaining to US Copyright Office as well OUP’s revival of Grove Music 2021 contest.
