When we lose something we care about we have a psychological desire to replaced it. This episode breaches the subject. Heidi and her guest Ryann discuss their own personal struggles to fill the void left by loss of their pregnancies. Ryann filled her loss with a yorkie named Busta and Heidi filled hers with the substituent births of her 2nd son. Some of this was conscious decision making and some decisions we unconsciously made. Hindsight can be a wonder gift to explore.

About our guest: Ryann Lockhart and Heidi Have been friends for going on 15 years. They not only work together but they have been close friends from the moment they met. One of the common bonds that link the two women together is the loss of their pregnancies. The two have have spent many a night on each other's shoulder crying or sharing a bottle of wine.  Good friends don't show up everyday so when you find one hang on to it and nurture the relationship. Loss is frequently unexpected as both of them know first hand.
