Have you ever heard the phrase "We don't air our dirty laundry in public," or heard pregnancy referred to as being "on the nest" or "in a family way"? These are phrases that have allow us to develop a society that doesn't speak bluntly about pregnancy and everything that can accompany it. People can enter a pregnancy not knowing half of what is in store much less how common it is to lose a pregnancy.  If we don't share our experiences with those that need it we are saying that ignorance and poor education on the subject is ok. Today we live in a time when information is at our figure tips. Knowledge about miscarriage, stillbirths, and abortion no longer needs to be off limits. Heidi sits down with her mother for an interview to gain perspective on why the subject was and sometime is still not discussed and to learn about the 3 miscarriages that proceeded Heidi's birth.
