Kyla teaches primary full-time and can often be found teaching her science or health lessons outside in the school’s vegetable garden that she, of course, initiated and helped quite literally get off the ground. Kyla is a hands-on teacher who is gifted in her craft. Not only is she all of these awesome things but she is also a dear friend of mine. I’m so excited for you to hear the inspiration that Kyla brings through starting a large scale garden project at school.

I am a fairly new mom to my 8 month old baby girl and we live along the shores of Georgian Bay Ontario with my husband and our little Maltese Poodle Jean Luc. I am a French Immersion Teacher, a Yoga and Meditation Teacher and I am also a trained Psychotherapist. I have a lot of experience in the mental health and wellness field and I myself have struggled to cope with my stress response in difficult times which has resulted in anxiety and depression.
