In this episode, we will be talking about why prayer should be implemented in parenting a child. Growing up in a single-parent home, my mother always made sure that I and my three other siblings were both physically and spiritually safe. Despite being homeschooled for the majority of my adolescent and teenage life, my mother allowed me to go on a journey of finding myself spiritually despite hearing so many narratives from different churches we visited. On this journey, I discovered the importance of prayer and how it reflected in the way I was parented. Being a single mother of four is not an easy undertaking, so my mother turned to God for strength and direction during moments of confusion and decision making. 

This is why I wanted to talk about how having a parent who prayed and exercised patience with me during those pivotal stages of my development. I stand here proud of who I am and the journey it took for me to find inner peace.
