No hazardous weather is expected at this time. Spotter information statement. Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

Special weather statement. Elevated Heat Indices Expected This Afternoon. The combination of warm afternoon temperatures and increased relative humidities will result in heat indices near and upwards of 100 this afternoon, especially between 1 PM and 6 PM. Elevated heat indices could create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and spend time in air conditioned buildings this afternoon. Take extra precautions, especially if you work or spend time outside. When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible.
