Accepting yourself is not a an excuse to rest on your laurels. Accepting yourself is a realization of who you are meant to be. Most people are either paralyzed by their own insecurity or stunted by the idealization of their own mediocrity. Instead, we must self reflect to determine our individualized talents and gifts. We must then push ourselves to actualize our potential. And finally we must love and accept ourselves for who we inherently are.
