WBHO is South Africa's blue chip construction company, having grown its market share over recent decades to become the dominant player in a sector where professionalism and performance is everything. And during most of those years, surfing enthusiast Mike Wylie has been steering the ship, first as CEO and more recently as the chairman of the group which now also has substantial operations in Australia and the UK.

It will be a first for Wylie at the CEO SleepOut this year, but his colleague, the company's CEO Louwtjie Nel has been a regular, with his participation "having made all of us at WBHO very proud."

Wylie was also involved as the host at the venue for the South African CEO Ibandla where it got together annually for over a decade. Members of that club can expect to receive challenges of their own soon.
