Welcome back to another episode
0:09
of Net Worth and Chill with me, your host, Vivian
0:11
Tu, aka YourRichBFF and your
0:13
favorite Wall Street Girly.
0:14
And this week I have the spiciest
0:17
guest to date on the pod. So if
0:19
you're listening in and the ears are under 18
0:22
around you, please put in a pair of headphones.
0:24
Yes, this week we are talking about sex. In
0:27
this modern era, I think we can all appreciate that
0:29
sex sells and people have certainly gotten less
0:31
prudish about showing their bodies or
0:33
being supportive of sex work. And
0:35
there's certainly no shortage of people watching and
0:38
creating content on platforms like OnlyFans
0:40
and Pornhub. But a topic that we don't talk
0:42
about enough is the money behind this industry
0:45
and why the financial system still has a long
0:48
way to go. I don't want to spoil this incredible
0:50
rags to riches story. And with that, I'm so excited
0:52
to introduce international sex symbol, TikTok
0:55
star, and one of the top paid creators
0:57
on OnlyFans. Everyone please welcome
1:00
Rebecca Goodwin. Hi. That was such
1:02
an introduction. Thank you. Oh, of course.
1:05
Thank
1:05
you so, so much for being here. And I genuinely
1:08
can't wait to learn more about your story. Obviously
1:11
I'd love to start at the beginning. Where and how'd you grow
1:13
up and was working in the sex
1:15
industry or porn industry something that you'd always
1:17
wanted to do? No, no, I definitely
1:19
didn't want to work in the porn industry
1:22
from being a child. It
1:25
was never really something I ever expected
1:27
that I would do. To be honest, I used to
1:29
be someone that was quite closed minded about
1:32
it myself. So it was when
1:34
I started it four years
1:35
ago, it wasn't as OnlyFans
1:38
wasn't as well known and things like that. So before
1:40
that, I was a bit like, are you really doing
1:42
that? Do you know what I mean? I feel bad
1:45
now. Obviously, I can remember seeing like a
1:47
Facebook memory popping up. It
1:49
was me writing a status saying, I can't
1:51
believe people just get the clothes off and put it on Facebook.
1:54
Like, do you not have any self respect? I
1:57
actually used to be one of the
1:59
haters.
1:59
Up until yeah, I started, I
2:02
sort of changed my friend group and everything and I got
2:04
a little bit more open-minded and started on learning
2:06
things that, you know, have been taught to me through my
2:09
childhood. So yeah, childhood was, it
2:11
was pretty rough one, I'm not gonna lie. My dad's run
2:13
off with my mum's sister, so they got married.
2:15
Oh wow. Yeah, there's quite a lot
2:17
of abuse in the family. Quite
2:20
young. I actually got pregnant by
2:22
my rapist. So
2:25
my daughter's 11 years old now, I got pregnant
2:27
with her when I was 16. So yeah,
2:29
I've always had children ever since
2:32
being a child and I've really struggled
2:34
financially because the cost
2:36
of childcare and the, you know, minimum
2:39
wage, it doesn't really, it doesn't
2:41
really go hand in hand. They sort of charge more
2:43
for childcare than you can ever make in a month, you
2:45
know, working part-time anyway. So yeah,
2:47
I grew up in poverty. I used to eat
2:49
from food banks. I've got two children now. When
2:52
I was pregnant with my second one, the father left,
2:54
so I couldn't afford childcare again.
2:56
So I was like, what can I do? You know, what talents do
2:58
I have? And I thought, well,
2:59
I've got some boobs. So
3:04
yeah, it worked out well in the end. I
3:06
think people don't appreciate like how
3:08
funny you are and how good your like
3:10
timing and delivery is. Oh, I appreciate
3:13
it. But, you know, I think it's really interesting
3:15
that now as someone who is,
3:18
you know, very successful in their career
3:20
in this industry, like
3:21
you said that you changed a friend
3:24
group and that's really what led to that
3:26
mindset shift. So like what actually
3:28
led you getting into OnlyFans? Was
3:30
it one of these new friends being like, hey, by the way,
3:32
like this isn't actually like decent money making opportunity?
3:35
Not really. No, I said it was more my
3:37
family that I cut off than it was friends.
3:41
I didn't have many friends. But
3:43
like my dad, he was very, very close
3:45
minded. He was racist. He would
3:48
hate the fact that I'm doing what
3:50
I'm doing. But I thought I just cut him off and never
3:52
spoke to him again. I sort of unlearned everything
3:54
that he had taught me. But I
3:56
didn't I didn't know
3:57
anybody that was doing this like I didn't
3:59
have. any, I genuinely thought like
4:02
oh I'm one of the first people to ever do this.
4:04
Really naive obviously but um no
4:07
it wasn't, it was just sheer desperation
4:09
I guess of not being able to afford food
4:11
for my kids. It was a case
4:14
of I did have social services quite a
4:16
few times come around to my house because here
4:19
you have to get a voucher from a doctor or
4:21
a health physician in order to get the food from
4:23
the food banks. So when you get
4:25
too many of them you know they can refer
4:27
social services and be like obviously I'm not able
4:29
to support my children. So when it got to that
4:32
stage I was like I need to do something and
4:34
so yeah I started it out of sheer desperation
4:37
rather than anyone telling me to do it it was sort
4:39
of a shock to everyone it was even myself
4:41
that I'd done it. So yeah I
4:43
absolutely hate that you were put in that
4:46
position where you had to make any sort of decision
4:48
out of a place of desperation but do you mind
4:50
me asking before you moved into the adult entertainment
4:52
space what were you doing
4:55
how much were you making did you like that job?
4:57
I had lots of different jobs
4:59
I kept getting sacked because obviously my kids
5:01
would get chicken pox or whatever and I'd have to take
5:03
time off but directly before doing
5:06
OnlyFans I worked at Debenhams in
5:08
the cafe I've worked mainly retail
5:10
jobs and hobby craft and
5:13
I've also worked in a secure unit
5:15
for adults with challenging behaviours as a
5:17
support worker so I just like jobs
5:19
that you know no skill is required
5:22
no qualifications are required because I've got
5:24
nothing more than GCSEs. Wait I have a I have
5:26
a stupid American question
5:27
what is GCSEs is that like our high school
5:29
degree? So that we get GCSEs
5:32
when we're let me think 15
5:35
I think 14 15 but yeah it's okay sort
5:38
of the yeah what is it 16 so
5:40
the end of school okay grades
5:43
that you need yeah I don't even know what
5:45
year it is I don't know I
5:48
can't remember I think it's like yeah I
5:50
think it's about 15 but you sort of have
5:52
to pick what you want to do at that age
5:54
and you have to get what you want to do for the rest of your life
5:56
apparently because these
5:57
grades are you know
6:00
they go towards your university and your A
6:02
levels and things like that so I did it
6:04
at 15 I didn't know what I wanted to do. No,
6:07
I was just like oh the teacher in
6:09
geography is nice I'll pick that one so
6:11
I sort of you know failed at the
6:14
first hurdle because I just wasn't ready to choose
6:16
what I wanted to do I didn't know what I was doing so
6:18
I thought yeah I just went into jobs with
6:20
no scale and sort of worked 16 hours
6:23
where I could around the children and I would get
6:25
about 400 pound a month but that would go
6:27
and rent you know I got I'm going to
6:29
like a
6:29
lot of debt taking out payday loans trying
6:32
to afford things to the point that I had a mini bankruptcy
6:35
just before doing any fans so I was bankrupt
6:37
and not obviously like a company but as a person
6:40
bankrupt and then obviously only fans came around
6:42
and just changed all of that for me so yeah
6:45
in terms of like you know making you
6:48
said 400 pounds a month yeah I
6:51
need to do a little bit of math
6:53
but 400 pounds a month is certainly
6:55
does not feel like enough to sustain
6:58
you through a year no no but I could
7:00
only work part-time this is right with
7:02
the children yeah and yeah
7:05
but then when they take tax and national
7:07
insurance and everything and it left me with
7:09
nothing and they would pay a bit of my rent
7:11
but they would like the council would pay
7:14
a bit in benefits towards but not
7:16
the whole sort of amount because I
7:18
was working whereas if I wasn't right then
7:20
they would have paid the full amount and
7:23
so yeah it was just a bit of a catch-22
7:25
situation and I felt the best way to get
7:27
rid of that situation was to sell my flat
7:30
on the internet yeah
7:32
there we go it's worked yeah
7:36
before we get into our next segment I have a question have
7:38
you ever been on the hunt for a new doctor and you
7:41
ask literally everyone you know for their recommendation
7:44
you're looking for a doctor who actually gets you listens
7:46
to you and makes you feel super comfortable
7:48
and finally after weeks of searching you find
7:51
the one so you call their office
7:53
and the perceptionist tells you that your perfect
7:56
doctor doesn't take your insurance or
7:58
if they do that they're not taking new patients
8:01
or that if they are taking new patients, you can't
8:03
get in for six to 12 months. Well,
8:05
wipe your tears, put away the ice cream and head
8:08
over to ZocDoc to find and book
8:10
the doctor who is right for you that you can
8:12
see in a timely fashion and

9:02
of, you know, your biggest concerns
9:04
back then, it sounds like your entire life
9:07
has revolved around your kids. And
9:09
I think you are, you know, an
9:12
amazing mom. What was your biggest
9:14
concern growing up
9:16
and having that be their experience?
9:18
Like, what were you worried about for them? Um,
9:21
it was more the case of obviously professional
9:24
people had got involved at that time and I was
9:26
like, I'm gonna lose my children if I'm feeding
9:28
them Uncle Ben's rice from the, from the
9:30
food bank all the time. Um, so
9:33
obviously I, one part of me was like, if I
9:35
do this there's a chance they're gonna get bullied in the future.
9:37
People are gonna know because obviously the aim of the game
9:40
with OnlyFans is to get seen by as many people
9:42
as you possibly can so that you can sell the subscriptions.
9:44
Of course. And then, but the, on the other hand it was,
9:46
I'm really struggling, I have been for
9:49
a while and there's a chance I'll lose my kids
9:51
if I don't, you know, do something dramatically
9:54
to change the fact that I've got people knocking on
9:56
my door. Um, and look, they used to, like social
9:58
services used to check the beds and the cupboards.
9:59
beds and obviously I wouldn't have much food in the cup beds
10:02
and you could see the concern on the face. So I
10:04
had the concern that they were going to go, that they were
10:06
going to get taken away from me. But now
10:08
obviously there is the concern that they're going to get bullied
10:11
but at the end of the day I think it's the bullies.
10:13
So 100% bullying is caused by bullies.
10:15
So I'll just stand my ground with this one
10:17
and people will say, oh your kids are going to get bullied,
10:20
blah blah blah. But at the end of the day it's their kids that are going to
10:22
be the bullies. I'd rather raise
10:24
my kids to be respectful and not bully other
10:26
children. There might be a chance that they will get bullied
10:28
but obviously that's something we
10:29
can deal with when we get to
10:32
it. That is such a great
10:34
attitude. When it
10:36
comes to bullies, the problem is the parents
10:38
who are not telling their children don't bully
10:41
others, not your kids. Well
10:43
that's who you're bothered about being online.
10:45
Saying stuff to me, the parents, like you've
10:47
got no self respect, your kids are going to get bullied
10:50
meanwhile their kids are in the background bullying other
10:52
kids. They don't even realise
10:54
that they are the problem most of the time, not me.
10:57
My job is not affecting their kids or them in
10:59
any way.
10:59
There's no reason but it's almost like the parents
11:02
seem to think that, oh she's a porn star, her
11:04
kids should get bullied and it's like that's where the behaviour
11:06
is learned. There's never a reason
11:08
to bully someone. You might not like somebody, you just scroll
11:10
on, you just get on with your life, whatever. There's no reason
11:13
why you should just bully them and anyone that thinks that
11:15
there is and that porn is a reason to bully someone,
11:17
they are the ones that are raising the bullies themselves. That
11:21
is 100% the best mentality and obviously
11:23
not everyone can make a full time
11:25
job out of being an OnlyFans model
11:28
or doing porn.
11:29
Can you talk to me a little bit about your early days?
11:31
What led to that meteoric rise
11:34
and why do you think you're able to appeal to such a large
11:36
audience aside from being so funny? I
11:39
actually started building up social
11:41
media way before I started OnlyFans. I used to
11:43
work on Snapchat quite a lot. Just
11:45
sort of building a follow in and then I got an
11:48
Instagram, started building that up a little
11:50
bit. But I just used comedy clips and people
11:52
started doing my own little funny,
11:54
just doing what I like to do basically
11:57
but other people seem to like it.
11:59
followers people start you know men
12:01
start messaging me saying oh can I have a look at
12:04
you naked and I was like
12:06
well yeah you can for a tenor so I actually
12:08
started taking money via bank transfer
12:10
before doing it and it got to a point
12:12
where I was like you know all this money is coming
12:15
in I need I need sort of a log
12:17
or something so I can keep
12:19
taxes so I looked into
12:21
websites that allow subscription services
12:24
and Onlyfans is the first one that I found but
12:26
because I always had because I already had that large
12:29
audience on snapchat and instagram
12:31
at that point I had somewhere to promote
12:33
it to already people were already
12:36
I think waiting for it in a
12:38
way everything was getting a little bit more provocative
12:41
so then when I dropped the link everybody subscribed
12:43
and in the first like two weeks I made two thousand
12:46
dollars which is obviously triple
12:49
well you had triple what I
12:51
was making in a month working
12:53
so like there's no point in me
12:55
carrying on looking at my job
12:58
I'll go with this I didn't expect it to last
13:00
long but it just sort of got better
13:03
and better but for me I make all
13:05
my money through subscriptions and I've always posted on
13:08
social media anyway because I've always been quite isolated
13:10
with having young children my whole life like my whole
13:12
life so I've always used social media
13:14
as a friend in a way sort of
13:16
talk to social media and my stories
13:18
so it doesn't feel like work
13:21
I just wanted to find a way to monetize it and obviously
13:23
a link on those social medias with a little
13:25
subscription fee is the best way to do
13:27
it so yeah it's it's been really easy for me
13:29
but obviously that's not the case for everyone I think the
13:31
average earnings on Onlyfans is
13:34
about 134 pound per month
13:36
and so less than 200 dollars
13:38
per month so I am really lucky
13:41
it is quite hard it doesn't seem as hard
13:43
for me because like I said I'm used to doing it social media
13:46
is not a job to me it's a bit of fun
13:48
yeah I'm posting what I want to post
13:51
and but it is marketing
13:53
advertising you know watching the drops
13:55
and the climbs and having to get the
13:57
content model release forms there's so much
13:59
behind it that people don't understand.
14:02
And the truth is not everybody gets
14:05
rich, it's not a get rich quick scheme. And
14:07
it can be detrimental to the rest of your
14:10
life and employers and things like that. So
14:12
people need to be aware of that as well. Definitely.
14:15
Obviously, nowadays, you are
14:17
making a very, very large sum of money. If
14:20
you're comfortable, would you be able to share what you're
14:22
making these days? So on average, you
14:24
make anything from 80,000 to $120,000 a month. Wow.
14:29
So
14:29
that is a real step
14:32
up for making 400 pounds a
14:34
month. I mean, the tax man loves
14:36
me. Obviously,
14:40
the tax man loves you. Can I ask, genuinely
14:42
curious,
14:43
do you like your job in
14:45
terms of like only fans and doing porn?
14:47
Or is it something that you're like, you know what, this is a means
14:49
to an end, this gives me the best life possible
14:52
gives my kids the best life possible. Okay,
14:54
so I absolutely love the
14:56
social media side of it. I love coming
14:58
up with the ideas and creatives. I do different
15:00
films like Super Mario Hoes,
15:02
I've just filmed,
15:04
Hori Potter and the prisoner of Ask
15:07
Gangbang. So I
15:09
love coming up with those ideas and the location
15:11
and I love doing like the acting at the beginning.
15:14
But then when it comes to the sex, I get
15:16
very nervous. I'm not telling
15:18
the truth. I'm not a very sexual person.
15:21
I don't, I could go forever
15:23
without sex. Absolutely. But
15:26
that is the part that sells. So I don't
15:28
hate it. But if there was a way
15:30
that I could do acting with my clothes on and
15:32
still get paid the same amount, yes, I would do it. Because
15:34
I'm not, I'm self conscious. I've got my baby
15:36
belly. I've got psoriasis all
15:38
over my knees and legs. So it's quite,
15:41
it's quite nerve wracking. But when
15:43
I'm in it, it's like just please the camera, please
15:45
the camera if you know what I mean. I
15:47
do love everything. I just struggle
15:49
with the actual sexy part. But
15:51
a lot of people don't realise that it's 10% of
15:54
the job that I'm doing. So 90% of
15:56
the job I love 10% the sexy part.
15:58
I don't really, I don't.
15:59
I love it, but they dread it, I just get very nervous.
16:03
I think it is so inspiring
16:05
to hear you say that because I'm sure so
16:07
many of the people listening will
16:09
look you up and be like, wow, someone who looks
16:12
like you and is so beautiful and conventionally
16:14
attractive would never
16:17
worry about those things. But to hear
16:19
you be like, well, I'm still self-conscious
16:21
about this and talking about the psoriasis on
16:24
your knees, I think that's so relatable.
16:26
It started off being like, oh, I can't show
16:29
this, I'm gonna edit this
16:29
out. And I've got to the point where I'm like, people
16:32
have psoriasis and people have
16:34
babies. Yeah. It's gonna make
16:36
people more, you
16:38
know, more confident in a way. I just, yeah,
16:41
I kinda like the fact that people know that I do
16:43
have these self-confidence issues because
16:45
I think everybody does. Everybody does,
16:47
it's just, I've sort of had to push
16:49
it to the side, fake it till I make it. Exactly.
16:53
It took me years, it took me three years to be able
16:55
to work with somebody else because I was
16:57
so nervous. So I just worked on my own for three
16:59
years. And then I did my first collaboration
17:02
with Danny D. And then ever since
17:05
then, I've really loved it. It's just, yeah,
17:07
like I say, is I think anybody, even
17:09
the most perfect person in the world, they
17:11
would still have their insecurities.
17:13
A lot of people have insecurities that, you know, nobody
17:16
would ever notice on them, but this is something
17:18
we all have and that's okay. So I don't edit
17:20
it all out now. I just sort of, people accept
17:23
that I'm scabby on
17:25
my knees. I love that, I love that so
17:28
much.
17:29
A lot of people seem to think, like,
17:32
comment on my TikTok videos and I've got dresses on,
17:34
like, have you been shagging it? Like, yeah, it's
17:36
definitely not psoriasis. I've been very lucky.
17:38
It's definitely. You should go and watch
17:40
it on my page. I've just been chilling in bed. That
17:43
is so, so funny.
17:46
I wanna take a quick second to talk about
17:48
tech. Profiling, surveillance,
17:50
data harvesting. There are lots of things
17:53
not to like about tech giants, but what
17:55
can you actually do about it when you rely on
17:57
so many of their products? Well, the good news
17:59
is it doesn't.
17:59
take much for you to take a stand. For less
18:02
than $7 per month, you can join me
18:04
and fight back against big tech by using ExpressVPN.
18:07
How do you think big tech companies make all their money anyways?
18:10
Well, by tracking your searches, video
18:12
history, and everything you click on and then selling
18:14
your personal data. ExpressVPN
18:16
helps you anonymize much of your online presence
18:19
by hiding your IP address, a unique
18:21
identifier that every device has that allows
18:23
big tech to match your activity back to
18:25
you. That's why I use ExpressVPN on all
18:28
my devices to make it much more difficult for them to
18:30
exploit my data for their own profits. And
18:32
the best part is how easy it is to use
18:34
the ExpressVPN app. I just tap
18:36
one button on my phone or computer to turn it on and
18:39
that's all it takes to keep people out of my business.
18:41
So if you don't like big tech tracking you
18:43
and selling your personal data for profit, it's time
18:46
to fight back. Visit ExpressVPN.com
18:48

18:50

18:59
Obviously, your finances have changed so much. What
19:02
are your finances nowadays look like
19:04
for your family? And how have they changed? Yeah,
19:06
obviously a lot better than they were. And but
19:08
most of the money is invested.
19:10
So I'm investing in property. Yeah. Yeah,
19:15
I've invested in property. So
19:19
it's sort of gonna be a case of I can pass everything
19:21
down to my children when I
19:23
need to, or you know, when they're old enough.
19:26
I'd never want to like give them I want to give
19:28
I want to wait until they're old enough so that they can either
19:30
decide to make a business with the properties that
19:33
I've invested in or whether to sell
19:35
them and blow the money but I'm hoping I'm
19:37
gonna wait long enough that they're gonna
19:39
decide actually maybe we should make a
19:41
business with the properties but yeah, so
19:44
I don't have I pay myself a salary. So
19:46
I'm not walking around with millions and millions of pounds
19:48
in my bank. That's right. I pay myself 3000 pounds
19:51
per month and then the rest goes into the company
19:54
account and then I use that so obviously
19:57
investments and things like that.
19:59
So I'm trying
19:59
to be as sensible as I can. Like I say,
20:02
tax does take a lot last year, I paid £189,000 in tax for
20:06
one year of a loan. So there
20:09
are obviously downsides as well, but
20:11
I can't complain. No,
20:13
certainly. And you are, you
20:15
know, I think you are so, so
20:18
savvy. And I know this is where
20:20
people probably thought the podcast was going to end.
20:22
But we are just getting started. I mean,
20:24
you're, you're now a bonafide millionaire. I, you
20:27
know, and what's so cool is that you're setting all of this
20:29
money aside, you are a woman of
20:31
business, a business woman, if you will.
20:34
And instead of blowing your entire
20:36
newfound fortune on tables
20:38
or at the club or on designer clothes, like
20:41
you talk about investing in particular
20:43
in real estate. How did you get into that? How did
20:45
you even know to do that? Well, I just didn't,
20:47
to be honest, what happened was
20:49
obviously I was getting a big income and I was
20:51
in my head, I was like, if I fail this,
20:54
my kids, you know, people are going to be like, ah,
20:56
your mom has done all this and you've got nothing. So I
20:58
knew I had to invest it. I knew I couldn't blow
20:59
it on myself. I knew that it had to be for
21:02
them to, otherwise it's not worth doing.
21:04
Like if I was on my own eating from a food
21:06
bank, I wouldn't care, do you know what I mean? I'd just be
21:08
fine. So I was like, obviously
21:11
there's a lot of crypto currency and I'm just
21:13
not, I don't understand it. And I don't
21:15
have the time to even try and understand it. But
21:17
I just know that obviously one of the most stable
21:20
markets, one of us, I wouldn't say the housing market is
21:22
stable, but it's definitely one worth
21:24
investing into.
21:27
So I just wanted something that was physical
21:29
rather
21:29
than crypto. I know people might
21:32
shout at me for that, but I don't understand it. No, don't
21:34
worry. I am very like,
21:37
don't invest anything you can't afford to lose
21:40
into crypto. Like I am very much
21:42
like look at the diversified
21:45
portfolios of like stocks and bonds.
21:47
I'm like very boring in that way. But okay.
21:49
So talk to me about, you're like, I want to have something
21:51
that I can physically touch. So you decide
21:54
to buy. Yeah. So I bought houses and
21:57
obviously up until my children want their
21:59
money.
21:59
them which is years to come as they're still obviously
22:02
in school etc. Up until
22:04
then I am renting them out through an affordable
22:06
housing plan that I've got so
22:09
all the houses will be rented out to people that
22:11
are currently in homeless shelters
22:14
or temporary housing or on
22:16
foundation women aid, women's aid people
22:18
that desperately need houses but they will
22:20
be charged next to nothing basically
22:23
once they get their benefits
22:25
their money from the government and they
22:28
will have nothing to add on top of that
22:29
so it's sort of them getting
22:32
the houses paid by the government and
22:34
obviously them having the luxury of having a big
22:37
nice house and not having to worry about
22:39
you know getting ripped off or the rents changing or
22:41
anything like that because obviously these houses are for
22:44
my children but if I can help people while
22:46
they're here then I'd like to
22:48
because obviously I used to live in private rent and
22:50
they put the rent open I'd struggle and
22:52
you know they'd always have these strict rules about
22:55
mowing the garden so I've had all the gardens
22:57
done so they've got no grass in them anymore
22:59
so people don't
22:59
have to worry about that it's all built
23:02
up but yeah I sort of wanted to do
23:04
something because I just really struggled with the private
23:06
and I know that obviously rent prices
23:08
at the minute I don't know what it's like over there but here
23:10
it is they're high so bad
23:13
so bad yeah and typically
23:15
when like parents buy
23:18
homes for their children they don't then go
23:20
and rent them out in affordable
23:23
housing programs to help other people like do
23:25
you think it's because you struggled so
23:27
much before you found this career success
23:29
that you wanted
23:29
to do that yeah but not only
23:32
that it makes sense to me because this
23:34
is the property rental is never going to be my main
23:36
business while I'm making a hundred thousand dollars a
23:38
month so it's like why not you know I
23:40
mean I don't need the I don't need to make
23:42
this an extra income I don't need to make this make
23:45
one day I might need to make it my main business but
23:47
right now everything is fine I'm making
23:49
more than enough money on one page to be able to just
23:51
help out a few people that are struggling but yeah
23:53
I've used like women's aid and obviously the
23:56
food banks have been in temporary housing before
23:58
and I just know how horrible it is and
24:00
having to find a bond, an initial
24:02
bond, and rent upfront. People
24:05
can't do it because you need like £2,000 or
24:07
something just to move into a property. And it's
24:09
just, I don't know how anyone is expected
24:12
to do that, especially in the current cost of a living crisis
24:14
that we're in. So yeah, I'd say a lot
24:17
of it is empathy for people that are in
24:19
the same situation that I used to be, but also
24:21
I don't need to monetize from this. These
24:24
are my kids' houses, do you know what I mean? Whatever,
24:26
I've got the physical house, I've still got the cash
24:28
building up in these anyway.
24:29
So, and I'll always have the income from
24:32
the people that are, but it's technically from the government,
24:35
from the people that are renting. So that's
24:37
to maintain the houses. Yeah, it's just
24:39
I don't need more money, I'm happy to help.
24:42
That's amazing. And also a proof
24:44
point that women should run the world. Yeah. Oh
24:47
yeah, definitely. But
24:50
one thing that I want to talk about is even
24:52
making £100,000 a month, you
24:56
still faced financial challenges when you
24:58
went to go buy these homes. Oh yeah. When
24:59
you went to the bank and you went and
25:02
said, hey, look at how much money I have,
25:04
look at how much money I make, I need a mortgage.
25:06
They told you to basically fuck off. Yes, they
25:09
did. They said that my job was not stable,
25:11
so they couldn't obviously offer me a mortgage
25:14
with an unstable income. Not
25:16
only that, but my bank shut me down, my
25:19
company account shut me down. For
25:22
the nature of my work, which
25:24
is just crazy because they did advertise
25:26
as a sex worker friendly, and then when they got enough
25:28
money and got more popular to get
25:31
investors, they just banned all of our accounts
25:33
and made us move the money within 28 days. So
25:36
I didn't really have the statements
25:38
and things that I needed to be able to get the mortgage
25:40
because I couldn't get them from this account. And
25:43
then obviously they said that the money was
25:45
not a stable income. Yeah.
25:48
Lot more stable than their income though. I
25:52
mean, that just really
25:54
upsets me, right? Because I think this is
25:57
something that is both true in the
25:59
UK, where you...
25:59
live, but also in the US and
26:02
in many other countries in that people
26:04
who work in the adult
26:06
industry who work who do sex work may
26:09
have significantly higher incomes than
26:11
the average person. And yet, because
26:14
of what they do, many financial institutions
26:17
don't treat them as if they
26:19
are bringing that money in, in a legal
26:21
way, which is not true. Like, what is 100%
26:23
legal? Yeah, it's
26:25
seen as dirty money, I think
26:28
so. People don't want to associate
26:29
with it. But for banks
26:32
and things to not want to associate with people
26:35
that are bringing in £100,000 a month on their
26:37
head, be it, you know what I mean? Yeah,
26:40
you don't want that kind of cash comets
26:42
sitting in your bank, then fine. I'm
26:44
not going to sit and argue with people that
26:47
don't see it as a job because it is a job
26:49
and I'm not about to try and sit and explain to
26:51
anyone. I always say call it a satsuma
26:54
if you want to like it's bringing in money for me. I
26:56
don't care what you want to call it. And
26:58
it's still everybody works
26:59
to make money. And my
27:02
work is making more money the most work.
27:04
Yeah. It's not got the
27:06
real job. Yeah, exactly.
27:09
And you know, I think it also like comes back
27:11
down to like how these financial services companies
27:14
just need to like move in to modern
27:16
day because I'm sure you know, this
27:19
probably impacted you a couple years ago,
27:21
only fans even said that they
27:23
had to really like cool it on
27:26
adult entertainment because their bank
27:28
and their financial partners
27:29
were having trouble validating
27:32
their income as a you know, multi
27:34
billion dollar empire. It's
27:37
kind of crazy to me that that's still
27:39
the case. Yeah, I know that MasterCard
27:41
do have certain roles from working alongside
27:44
sites like this. And
27:46
so Tim Stokely was the CEO
27:49
of OnlyFans and his choice was to
27:51
get rid of all sexual content. And carry
27:53
it on as like a mainstream sort of social media
27:56
because MasterCard said that they were going to pull
27:58
out unless all the
27:59
content met with their requirements,
28:02
but there was a new CEO that you know took
28:04
over, she's female and
28:06
she decided that you know we should
28:08
stay and yes it was going to be hard work
28:11
to take off all the content that you know
28:13
went against MasterCard's rules but
28:15
that's what she was going to do. So there
28:17
are obviously MasterCard do have strict
28:20
rules but they are things that I can understand
28:22
as well and they are rules that are trying
28:24
to keep people safe like public nudity
28:27
and things like a lot of people don't realise
28:29
you go out in public and get nude you
28:31
can be on the sex offenders register for life
28:33
and it doesn't matter if you're you
28:35
know if you're just doing OnlyFans content
28:38
or what and you
28:40
know OnlyFans and MasterCard don't want those
28:42
sort of charges on their back by selling
28:44
that content. So I can understand
28:47
in some ways I'm just grateful that obviously
28:49
they have said that there is some
28:52
sexually explicit content that is allowed but
28:54
they do have lines and limits
28:56
which I think everybody should have
28:59
as long as they're not
28:59
like just discriminating sex
29:02
work as a whole but it's just sort of stuff that
29:04
they could get in trouble for that they you know
29:06
they won't support but I'm just glad that a woman's taken
29:09
over OnlyFans as well because she's making
29:11
better decisions. Yeah
29:13
I hate if I mispronounce her
29:15
name but Ami Gan is like fucking
29:18
crushing it so we love her. Yeah
29:20
to kind of wrap up
29:22
this episode I wanted to do a fun
29:24
question lightning round these will cover
29:27
pretty much everything okay and I think
29:29
you'll find them to be quite fun. So first
29:31
question since your newfound fortune
29:34
what is the like thing that
29:37
each of your kids have asked for that
29:39
you gave them that you got them? Oh
29:43
that's a hard probably a holiday abroad
29:45
they've never been abroad before I did
29:48
and they say obviously how their friends always go abroad
29:50
they've been to Tenerife and Grand Canaria
29:52
and Greece since so yeah
29:54
that would be a joint one of a holiday abroad.
29:57
That's a good that's a really good one and it probably
29:59
is like a core memory for them. Oh yeah, yeah.
30:02
Bad holidays I've had, yeah. Yeah.
30:04
Amazing. What was the biggest
30:07
money mistake you have ever made?
30:10
Probably the first year not putting aside
30:12
my tax. Yeah, that's
30:14
a big one that a lot of people make. Yeah, I
30:16
assumed that I was so, now I look back at
30:18
it, it's so silly, but I assumed that the 20% that
30:21
only fans talk covering my tax. I
30:23
was like, fine, it's fine. But luckily,
30:25
I managed to sort that out. And I am now
30:27
not in debt with HMLC. I
30:29
love that. That is a very good warning
30:32
to all of the creators and
30:34
people who are working for themselves
30:37
that are listening as well. Yes.
30:39

What is something that you would never
32:11
do on camera? What
32:14
would I never do on camera? Take
32:16
a dump.
32:17
There you go. Oh, okay. Yeah, I
32:19
don't do scat content. You
32:22
know, that's totally fair. Everybody has- There's
32:24
not much I won't do on camera, but
32:27
yeah, I'm not happy to do that one. How
32:31
would you feel if one of your kids got into
32:33
the adult entertainment industry? Obviously,
32:35
if they were old enough, I'd be supportive. You
32:38
know, I am so against capitalism. I'm
32:41
like, you do what you need to do to survive
32:43
in the world. And obviously I'll
32:45
help wherever I can and I'll support
32:47
you wherever I can, because at the end of the day,
32:49
I want my children to be happy. And if they think
32:51
that's, you know, well, so who am I
32:54
to judge? I can't say, no, that's disgusting.
32:56
Have some self-respect and dignity. You
32:58
can't do that. But yeah,
33:00
I would support them 100%. Okay, this is a two
33:03
part question. What is something
33:05
that you have bought yourself that
33:07
is 100% worth the money? And
33:10
what is something that you're like,
33:12
damn, I should not have gotten that? Okay,
33:14
so the best thing that I've done with
33:16
my money out of everything
33:18
is passed my driving test, 100%. So
33:20
driving license and driving test,
33:23
that has just opened up so
33:25
many different opportunities for me. I no
33:27
longer have to get in the bus everywhere. So
33:29
yeah, driving test and driving lessons. And
33:32
did you buy a car? I did buy a car,
33:34
yeah. I've got a Porsche, but I wouldn't say that. Oh,
33:36
okay. She's fancy. I
33:39
wouldn't say that. I could manage with, you know, a Ford
33:41
Ka or anything,
33:42
but obviously without the test itself,
33:44
it's all pointless. So yeah, that was one of the best things
33:47
I did for myself. One
33:49
of the worst things, I'd
33:51
probably say giving money to people that have
33:53
really, really screwed me over. So I paid off
33:55
their family members. Well,
33:57
I gave them the deposit for a mortgage.
33:59
£20,000 and they've not really
34:02
looked after me or remembered
34:05
it. So I think just giving money, helping people out
34:07
where I probably shouldn't have, I wouldn't ever ask
34:09
for it back or anything. I just wish that they
34:13
sort of helped me when I needed, not financially,
34:15
just childcare and things like
34:18
that. Yeah, just being a bit supportive. People
34:20
in my family don't like talking about my job and I get that.
34:22
But at the end of the day, I bought these houses outright.
34:24
And when I first moved into this house, I didn't get
34:27
a new house card. I was like, I
34:29
bought this cash
34:29
outright and it's just that lack
34:32
of support. So probably helping people
34:34
I shouldn't have helped. Yeah. Can
34:36
we quick pause on the lightning round?
34:39
I do want to take a moment to address
34:41
this because I think a lot of the listeners
34:43
and people who are the
34:45
first people in their families to make a
34:47
lot of money, immigrants, people who
34:49
just are coming into money for the first time.
34:51
How are you able to set those boundaries?
34:54
Obviously, it sounds like a couple of people
34:56
took your kindness for granted. Yeah,
34:59
I've struggled. I'm not going to lie. I find
35:01
it really hard to say no to people. Obviously,
35:03
at the beginning, it was like, oh, I don't have any food. I
35:06
don't have any gas electric. I was like, yeah, no problem.
35:08
Of course, I'll help you. But then it got to the point where,
35:10
oh, I need a new car. I
35:12
need a holiday with my family. And
35:15
I was so used to giving them money. I was
35:17
so scared of saying no that I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah,
35:19
do that. But it's only been recently where
35:21
I've been massively screwed
35:24
over by a family member that I put my
35:26
foot down and I've sort of like say, only pay
35:28
myself three thousand. I will not dip
35:30
into because people don't realize when they ask for money, I have to
35:32
take it out as a dividend and then pay tax on that.
35:35
So it's actually more than what they're asking for. So,
35:37
yeah, I've sort of locked myself in at three
35:40
thousand pound a month and I refuse to dip
35:42
into money for anybody else or less. Obviously,
35:44
it's someone that I love and they need something
35:46
important. But I'm done with paying people's
35:49
mortgages and buying a smart and stuff. I'm
35:51
done with it. Good. Good
35:53
for you. You deserve
35:55
to like put yourself first.
35:58
Yeah, money changes a lot of people.
35:59
and I mean, like the people around me and everything
36:02
as well is crazy, is
36:04
crazy. Money changes a
36:06
lot of people, but frankly, I
36:08
think it just amplifies or
36:10
makes worse who you used to be.
36:13
Like it doesn't, like if you were a certain
36:15
way before, you are a certain way now. Yeah,
36:17
definitely. And I think that's especially true
36:20
with you. You were kind before,
36:22
so now you're extra kind, but like you have the ability
36:24
to like give back in that way. But like if someone
36:27
was like a greedy leech, like
36:29
they're going to be a
36:29
worse person now that you have so much more
36:32
money. Absolutely, yeah, that's definitely
36:34
true. I agree. OK, we are going
36:36
to do a fun financial calculation,
36:39
but I can do it for you because I know
36:41
you're on your phone.
36:43
What is your FU number? And this
36:45
is calculated by closing your eyes
36:47
and thinking, how much money would
36:49
I need to live very comfortably
36:52
for one year? For one year. To
36:55
live very comfortably for one year. OK,
36:59
so 200,000. And then we are
37:01
going to divide that by 0.04 because
37:04
that is the 4% return
37:07
that you would be able to get on an
37:10
average diversified stock
37:13
portfolio. Your FU
37:15
number is actually much smaller than
37:17
I anticipated. It's 5 million. And
37:21
once you actually hit $5 million
37:23
in the stock market, like in investments,
37:26
you will be able to make your
37:29
annual amount that you would need to live comfortably
37:31
on interest. OK. Yeah,
37:34
so just a fun little math equation.
37:36
Yeah, I'll have to
37:38
think about that. Yeah, if you're
37:40
like, from then on, I can become a
37:43
producer instead of on-camera talent,
37:45
like certainly that's something you could consider. OK,
37:48
so up next, what is the
37:50
most fun scene you've
37:52
ever done for work? Or just you can tell us the
37:54
title of the video.
37:56
I did a parody of the mommy, and
37:58
we called it the mommy. And
38:00
it was me and Rebecca Moore
38:03
and the guy called Sambourne. Me
38:05
and Rebecca Moore have big mommy milkers.
38:09
So she was Queen Mommy Milkers,
38:12
that was her name. And we
38:15
all banged over a coffin.
38:18
There was no one in the coffin. That
38:22
wasn't my fault. Disrespecting
38:25
the dad. That is honestly,
38:27
I love that a lot of your
38:30
videos and a lot of your shoots seem to just be
38:32
like comedy parodies of
38:34
movies that you like. Yeah,
38:36
because that's what I love doing. I can't stand
38:38
here and be like, oh yeah, you want to see
38:40
my pussy? I
38:43
can't do it. So I've got to have something
38:45
where I'm on a coffin. I did
38:47
another one called The Lord of My Ring where
38:50
I worked with a four for eight
38:52
hobbit. And I was an elf and we found
38:54
a hobbit hole in a hill.
38:57
And yeah, really cool. I
38:59
just love doing this kind of stuff. I
39:02
feel like in another life
39:04
you were 100% either like a
39:06
comedian or like one of those people
39:08
who like goes to like Comic Con every year. Yeah. What
39:14
is one thing that you wish most
39:16
people actually knew about adult
39:18
entertainers? I don't
39:20
know if it's the same for every adult
39:23
entertainer, but I've
39:26
never had an orgasm on set. Never?
39:30
No, it is full on acting. I've
39:33
never gone in and enjoyed it. And
39:37
it's literally like, oh yeah, yeah,
39:39
cut. Okay, watch this. I don't want a cup of
39:41
tea. Like that sort of thing. It's nothing like,
39:44
obviously I don't want to ruin the illusion for everyone. Yeah.
39:47
But it is, yeah, it's nothing like
39:49
what you think it's going to be. So when
39:51
people say it's not a job, just know that I'm stood
39:54
on the side of the set shaking
39:56
like Ali waiting. And the whole time I'm
39:58
like, is the camera on?
39:59
on my ballet, but I'm having to act as
40:02
well. So I'm going, ah, ah, ah.
40:04
And it's just, yeah, it is work. It's
40:06
hard work. It's the same as acting in any
40:09
other film, but obviously a lot more intimate. And
40:11
it's just nerve-racking. So it is a job.
40:14
It's definitely a job. Oh my gosh.
40:16
I mean, like, I forget about all that. I'm like, you're
40:18
like, okay, I have to like have sex on camera,
40:21
look appealing, suck in, look
40:23
good, make sure that my double chin's not
40:25
showing. Like, there's just so many things
40:27
to like, you know, think about, and that's crazy. We
40:29
always
40:29
take the photos first of the positions that
40:32
we're going to be in. So we do like photos first, and
40:35
then we have to memorize what order we've
40:37
taken the photos in and get from that position,
40:39
switching to the other one. And it's just a whole
40:42
lot going off into people. Just think we click go
40:44
on a camera and we, you know. Yeah.
40:46
And it's not how it is. So
40:49
it's not even organic. Like you
40:51
guys didn't just decide the positions. Like these positions
40:53
were specifically designed. Yeah,
40:55
yeah. We do it in accordance to the photos
40:57
so that we know where everyone, otherwise it gets
40:59
a mess,
40:59
because usually there's quite a few people in my videos.
41:02
So we don't want the creeping up over bowls
41:04
and stuff. Yeah. Yeah, we sort of
41:06
have to plan it all out beforehand. So there's not
41:08
any enjoyment in it for me. Like, no,
41:11
no. You just like coming up with the fun ideas.
41:13
Yeah, I like the dude. Yeah.
41:18
And what is the one
41:21
thing you love most about the adult industry
41:23
and the one thing you dislike the most? The
41:26
one thing I like most about doing
41:28
the job that I do is the freedom that it gives
41:30
me. Obviously that's through being self-employed,
41:33
but I get to choose when I work. You
41:35
know, that's even above the money. Like that
41:37
is the best thing. The worst
41:40
is probably the discrimination I received from like,
41:42
I don't mind so much haters on the internet because that's
41:44
free contents. I always reply to their comments
41:47
with sassy, it's a sarcastic. That's engagement.
41:49
Yeah, I love that. And it boosts my algorithm.
41:51
So not them, but like hotels and banks and
41:54
things like that. I've
41:56
been turned away from hotels before I drove to Scotland
41:59
from England.
41:59
and they let me know 10 minutes before that I wasn't
42:02
welcome in their hotel because it
42:04
was a job that I did, but I wasn't going to work. I was actually
42:06
going to meet a guy that I was seeing at the time.
42:08
We had no camera equipment, no lights, no nothing,
42:10
but they just refused to let me. And obviously I've driven
42:13
from England to Scotland, which are two different
42:15
countries. So it
42:17
was a bit of a nightmare, but yeah, I'm
42:20
just gonna sort it. So that is probably
42:22
the worst part, the discrimination. I mean,
42:24
I think
42:25
it's so unfounded and
42:27
I'm really sad to hear that that's still
42:29
the case today. And I really hope that going
42:32
forward, that changes and gets better. I
42:34
think the stigma is loosening. Obviously
42:36
it's gonna take a while for people to accept
42:38
it as just any other job, but this
42:40
day I think there's been a lot, especially with only
42:42
funds being so, you know, popular at the moment,
42:45
it's yeah, it's working. Perfect.
42:48
And last fun question. If you were
42:50
not doing your current job and
42:53
money didn't matter, what job would you
42:55
choose?
42:55
Just any dream job? I
42:57
always, before this, I always wanted to be a geology
43:00
lecturer, so I'm obsessed with it. Oh, I'm
43:02
sorry, what? I'm
43:05
obsessed with rivers, sources,
43:08
just everything to do with natural disasters,
43:10
rocks, volcanoes, I'm obsessed
43:12
with David Attenborough. I love him so
43:14
much with all my heart. Yeah,
43:17
I've literally just had to drag myself from the Peak
43:19
District to come and have this podcast because I just
43:21
sit in grass all day. But
43:23
yeah, I've always wanted to do something that's
43:25
around nature,
43:27
geography, geology, and the only way that
43:29
I could really, at that time, think
43:32
of implementing that was to teach
43:34
it. So yeah, definitely
43:36
something to do with geography, geology, or I'd
43:39
just be with David Attenborough for the rest of my life,
43:41
but I don't think he's got long left. Remember,
43:45
that is the coolest, but also like
43:47
weird, like you're a weirdo, I love that about you. I
43:49
guess I'm still working with rocks in
43:51
somewhere. Yeah, forever. But
43:54
you know, you know, you
43:57
are so,
43:57
so fun and quirky and such
43:59
a... a business person. I'm
44:02
just completely blown away. I
44:04
have had so much fun on this interview, but I
44:06
would love to know what's next for
44:08
you, your business, and where can
44:11
everybody find you? What's next
44:13
for me is I'm going to be doing mentoring.
44:16
It's called mentoring. I'm
44:20
going to be teaching all the women as well, and many
44:22
people that want to do this industry,
44:24
people that have already started, but just need some tips and
44:26
things. I want to be incorporating
44:28
that into tutoring.
44:29
Yeah, just more fun
44:32
videos and lots, because
44:34
that's what I love doing, lots of TikTok and
44:36
things like that. But you can find me
44:38
on rebeccagoodwin.co.uk.
44:41
All my links are available on there. Perfect.
44:43
Thank you so, so much for spending some
44:46
time with me. You are truly
44:48
a delight. You are so intelligent
44:50
and funny. I feel
44:52
like I learned so much from talking
44:55
to you. And I hope that our listeners
44:57
get just as much as I did out of this chat.
44:59
