In this Episode, I interview Iris Fagniez, who happens to be one of my closest friends. She is a 19 year old activist from France who in late 2018, early 2019 started her own social enterprise and was invited to join the United Nations and present her ideas surrounding the global food wastage crisis.

Bakerycyling started because Iris saw a massive issue in Bali, the massive amounts of food wastage from the local restaurants. So she started off by going around to all of the local bakeries and collecting all of their day old bread and would trade it in for rice in order to help feed and support the local orphanages in Bali. In this episode she discusses the struggles she faced in setting up her non for profit, and stresses the importance of starting small. She says its all about picking something small and building your way up instead of getting overwhelmed by such large issues like food wastage.
