Hey Ryan .

0:01

Hey , what's happening .

0:03

I wanted to have

0:06

kind of like a more personal episode

0:09

today . Do you have marshmallows in

0:11

that coffee ? Oh no

0:13

, ok , I do not .

0:14

No , there are no marshmallows in my coffee

0:17

, unfortunately .

0:18

I thought you were drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows for

0:21

a second .

0:22

No , it's a latte with

0:25

espresso in .

0:26

It Sounds lovely , yeah

0:29

, anyway , as I was saying , I thought it would be

0:31

fun because

0:33

we've been doing a lot of episodes with lists

0:36

and everything and we're going to have a list today . But

0:40

I wanted to get kind of more

0:42

behind the scenes or

0:45

have more of a personal conversation

0:47

around the activities

0:49

that you and I do

0:51

individually to

0:54

up level our

0:56

life and our business and how

0:58

we approach our

1:01

own entrepreneurial endeavors

1:03

and life , because it's all

1:05

the same , really the end of the day .

1:08

Cool , that sounded very vague

1:11

and abstract , so we're going to talk

1:13

about stuff we do that makes

1:15

us successful .

1:17

Yes , cool , exactly .

1:19

All right , I liked the way that

1:21

you said it . It was just there's

1:23

a lot of words .

1:24

I know , and that's just me

1:27

, that's me . I'm a very chunked

1:29

up person and you're more chunked

1:31

down , which is why it's like a perfect

1:33

match .

1:34

Now we have all the bases covered

1:36

, like the listeners who want

1:39

that deep philosophical

1:41

understanding of what we're talking about . Got

1:43

it , yeah . And then the people who are like what

1:45

? What is Atlanta talking about now ? Stuff

1:48

we do , that is good

1:51

.

1:52

Yeah , stuff we do . That makes us successful

1:54

Good stuff or that we think makes us successful

1:56

. I don't know , maybe it doesn't , but it's stuff

1:59

we like . Yeah , stuff

2:01

we like to do Cool .

2:03

All right .

2:05

So we've got six items , because I have

2:07

three and you have three .

2:09

Yeah .

2:10

And so we're just going to go through those six

2:12

items randomly as

2:15

we go .

2:17

Let's do it OK . So let's

2:19

start with Atlanta Banks . What's

2:21

one of the things you do that has made you or you

2:23

believe makes you successful

2:26

or thrive , or whatever

2:29

?

2:29

Yeah Well , for me , my

2:31

first one on the list , or the very first thing

2:33

I thought of , was an NLP breakthrough

2:36

, and I put this on

2:38

my list , not because this is something that I

2:40

do on a regular basis , but in

2:43

2017 , I was introduced

2:45

to NLP and

2:48

hypnosis , and

2:50

all because I had put

2:52

this article . I was featured in this article

2:54

in Shadalane Magazine , where I exposed

2:57

my phobia of throwing

2:59

up , which has a word which is called

3:01

a metaphobia , actually and

3:04

I was at this kind of point of desperation

3:06

and the total

3:08

stranger reached out to me and told

3:10

me that I should go have an NLP breakthrough

3:12

. He didn't use those specific words

3:14

, but he was like go see this person . So

3:17

I didn't really know what I was getting into . And

3:20

I had this almost

3:23

four hour session with

3:25

an NLP practitioner

3:27

and it was

3:29

like there was life before

3:32

that day and then there's been life

3:34

after that day and

3:36

it totally changed a lot of things

3:38

for me , not necessarily from a business

3:41

perspective , but just my life in

3:43

general completely changed . It just

3:45

opened my mind to so many new possibilities

3:47

.

3:48

Yeah .

3:50

And that was a huge up level . And

3:52

then that kind

3:55

of led me down more of a path to changing

3:58

my career , because at that

4:00

time I had

4:03

my online fabric store and

4:05

I kind

4:08

of like changed it . I don't know what it did , but

4:10

it shook me out of wanting to just do that

4:12

and then wanting to help people the

4:14

way I had been helped . So

4:16

then I went further and I

4:19

studied NLP with you . So I had another

4:21

breakthrough there and that's when

4:23

I decided I'm going to sell my fabric store and

4:25

I'm just going to do this full time . And

4:27

then recently I had another NLP breakthrough

4:29

and that's when I went viral on

4:31

Instagram .

4:33

Boom yeah .

4:35

So for me the

4:37

breakthrough is huge and I think honestly

4:40

everybody in the world should have at

4:42

least experience at once .

4:45

Yeah , yeah .

4:46

Because you don't have to have something wrong with you . You

4:49

don't have to have something like I went specifically

4:51

because of my metaphobia . But even

4:54

if I didn't have a metaphobia I would have

4:56

benefited from going

4:59

. That , for me , was just the instigator

5:01

.

5:02

Yeah , yeah , the

5:05

breakthrough process definitely huge , definitely

5:07

something that I have benefited

5:10

from myself as well and something I've

5:12

taught to people

5:14

. So , yeah , powerful , powerful

5:17

stuff . I'll agree with you there . It's like

5:20

man how would you describe

5:22

it in lay person's terms

5:24

, I don't know like a decade worth

5:26

of therapy packed into four

5:29

hours . Hours , five hours and

5:32

different breakthroughs will be different lengths , sort

5:34

of the . Some people do them in a 10 hour

5:36

process , some it's a

5:38

single longer session .

5:42

Yeah , yeah , I think the way

5:44

I would describe it is it

5:46

really it takes kind

5:49

of like how you see the world and

5:52

like turns it on , turns it on its

5:54

head that's how I would describe it

5:56

Like it helps you look

5:58

at what you're believing

6:01

and what you've always believed to be true

6:03

from a whole different perspective

6:05

.

6:06

Yeah , yeah , one

6:10

of those things you really got to experience it to truly

6:12

understand .

6:13

Yeah , it's so true , but

6:16

I think that you know if there's something that's not

6:18

working in your life or

6:20

you're feeling you have

6:22

like a lot of feelings , or

6:24

you know what I mean that are maybe not appropriate

6:26

, like anger or a

6:29

lot of sadness or a

6:33

lot of fear which was my

6:36

thing , I had a ton of fear and anxiety

6:38

like you , will 100%

6:40

benefit from going through the break through process

6:42

, because it really kind of like pulls apart

6:45

those feelings and

6:48

the beliefs that are associated with those feelings

6:50

to the point where

6:52

you're like , oh well , it doesn't really

6:55

matter that much .

6:56

Yeah , yeah

6:59

, beautiful , all

7:01

right . Yeah , that's a good one , that's

7:04

kind of a good explanation . Been a game

7:06

changer for you . It's been a game changer for me

7:08

. I know a lot

7:10

of people who have had NLP breakthroughs .

7:12

Yeah , Game changer yeah same

7:14

yeah Cool

7:16

. All right , all right . So

7:19

what's your number one ? The ?

7:21

mine is a

7:23

totally different vibe

7:26

. Over here . I call it routine

7:28

iteration . One thing that I

7:30

do that

7:32

I have found has really helped

7:35

me to be consistent in

7:37

being successful , and just consistent

7:40

in being consistent is

7:42

what I call routine iteration , and

7:45

what that means is I

7:48

try to always have a daily list

7:50

of things to do . That

7:52

I know if I do these

7:55

four or five things or six or seven things , whatever

7:57

it is , however many on my list each

7:59

day , particularly in business

8:01

, but some of them are not business related

8:04

. Sometimes I know if I do

8:06

all of these things every day , then

8:08

I'm doing good work and I'm growing

8:11

my business or I'm excelling or

8:13

I'm moving forward in life . And

8:18

the reason I say iteration is because

8:20

this list is very

8:23

much a dynamic list that I'm constantly

8:25

evaluating and reevaluating and

8:28

eliminating things and or adding new things

8:30

or reordering it or adding

8:32

little caveats . And

8:35

it's a simple list . But just having

8:37

that as sort of , as one

8:39

of my coaches said , having

8:41

this as like a North Star , like

8:43

you wake up , you don't have to think too hard off

8:46

the bat because you know you've got this little

8:48

list and each line is

8:50

only two or three words and

8:53

worst case scenario . If all you do is most of the stuff

8:55

on that list , even not even all of it , you've

8:57

had a good productive day

8:59

, and so it's easier said

9:01

than done . This

9:03

is one of the things that I share with my clients

9:06

and my coaching program , but

9:08

it can make a world of

9:10

difference .

9:11

Yeah .

9:12

How productive a person is .

9:15

Yeah , and it gives you a lot of clarity in

9:17

terms of like it's not like you're ever waking

9:19

up and wondering , like , what am I going to do today ? Yeah

9:22

, and

9:24

some days it might be different than others , but like

9:26

, that's just sort of like how you operate .

9:29

Yeah .

9:30

It's like your manual .

9:32

Yeah , your daily manual , I call

9:34

it routine iteration , because

9:36

it really is like if you're

9:39

listening to this and you're thinking

9:41

, oh , I should do that , you really got to

9:43

remember to continually

9:45

reevaluate this list to make sure it's

9:48

reflecting your needs and where you are and where

9:50

you're going . You can't

9:52

just like , make it and forget it and expect

9:54

to do the same six things every day for the rest of

9:57

your life . It really needs to grow with you .

9:58

Yeah , so like , just so the listeners can

10:01

like visualize this , like for like

10:03

one or two things that are on your list , like

10:05

what would those look like ?

10:06

Let me pull up my list and I have it in my Apple Notes

10:09

as an actual . Like checklist

10:11

and Apple Notes you can make it

10:13

have a list of Little bubbles yeah . Bubbles

10:16

you can check and uncheck . So the first

10:18

thing on my list is to update

10:20

my business tracking spreadsheet

10:22

. So I have a little spreadsheet

10:25

in Google Sheets where I track how

10:27

many members I have in my two memberships

10:29

, how many contacts

10:31

I have on my newsletter list , how many people

10:33

are in my Facebook group , how

10:36

many followers I have on Instagram . You

10:38

know a bunch of like really simple to track

10:40

metrics , right . So I try

10:42

to do that every day , yeah

10:45

, in the morning . And then

10:47

you know another simple one is just to clear

10:50

my social media inboxes

10:52

To make sure

10:54

, go through any messages that's

10:56

unread , to either give

10:59

it a response , delete

11:01

it if it doesn't require a response , or

11:03

whatever leave it or action

11:05

it or whatever . Right , those

11:08

are a couple and

11:11

it's just . It's just simple stuff . Yeah

11:13

, I like that .

11:14

Cool . I like , it

11:16

All right and feel free

11:18

everyone to adopt these , these

11:21

activities .

11:22

No , they're just hours . They're hours . They

11:25

can't have them . Don't

11:27

take my activities .

11:30

All right , so my , so this

11:32

is number three . I guess my number two

11:34

is for

11:37

me , self-image work has been like

11:39

a total game changer and this

11:41

is like this is like my medium level . I

11:43

want to say Like this isn't something that I'm

11:45

like focused on necessarily every day

11:47

, but

11:49

when I decided

11:52

to go full time with coaching , I

11:54

signed up for like a pretty

11:56

high ticket coaching program

11:59

. That seemed

12:01

a bit out of reach for me . Like

12:03

being part of this group

12:06

made me nervous because I thought all

12:08

the women that were in this group were like way better than me

12:10

and were making more money than me and

12:12

all this stuff . And

12:15

I learned in this group , oh , that

12:17

self-image work , and I

12:20

also learned that these women

12:22

were dealing with the exact same problems

12:24

that I was dealing with and that

12:26

really was helpful to me to recognize that , like

12:28

, even though I was really looking up to these people and thought

12:30

that I shouldn't even be in this group , it

12:34

was very confidence

12:36

boosting to know that , like

12:38

we were all dealing with the exact same problems

12:40

, just different , right . And

12:43

so self-image work

12:45

for me was just like deciding

12:47

what type of person I want to be

12:49

, what type of coach I want to be , what type

12:52

of mom I want to be , what type of like partner

12:54

I want to be , what type of friend I want to be

12:56

and

12:58

I do this with my clients as well , and

13:01

it just it kind of . It's kind

13:03

of like your list , right . It gives you clarity

13:05

in terms of like , who

13:07

am I being in this world ? How am I showing

13:10

up ? How am I showing up online ? How am I showing up

13:12

with work ? How am I showing up with my personal

13:14

life ? So that's been

13:16

a big game changer for me and

13:19

that's kind of also how this podcast started

13:21

, cause I decided I was going

13:23

to be the person who followed through

13:25

on intuitive nudges . That

13:27

was like part of my self-image sort of list

13:30

. And then I got the intuitive

13:32

nudge to start this podcast and ask you

13:34

to do it together . And

13:36

I just did it Cause that's who

13:39

I was , that's who I decided I was going

13:41

to be , you know . So it just makes like navigating

13:43

life so much easier .

13:45

Yeah , yeah Cool

13:47

.

13:48

Yeah , so self-image work .

13:50

How's the image work ? Is

13:53

that , is the recording

13:55

of your self-image workshop still available

13:57

anywhere ?

14:00

It's in , I think , one of your program

14:02

. It's in your elite coaching program

14:04

. Oh yeah , I believe

14:06

so . Henquity is in that I've

14:09

been through the role right now . But

14:11

yeah , I do have it somewhere . I

14:14

have it . I can like send it . If somebody wants

14:16

it , they can just ask me for it .

14:18

It's kind of a little town .

14:20

I'm actually . You know what that's . I'm not going

14:22

to send it out because I'm going to be running

14:24

a workshop in the next

14:27

, at least the next three months

14:29

. That will be self-image work

14:31

, but it's going to be mostly focused

14:33

around like

14:35

becoming the CEO of

14:38

your business .

14:39

Cool .

14:40

Yeah , so look out for that , cause

14:42

that will be coming . I'm

14:44

doing a big planning session tomorrow , so I

14:46

don't know when anything's happening yet but I

14:50

will tomorrow , but

14:52

coming nonetheless , okay Cool . Love

14:56

it . Had to step into your CEO image

14:58

.

15:00

All right yeah .

15:02

Yeah , I'm excited for that . It's going to be cool . There will

15:04

be like hypnosis involved and like

15:06

visualizations and LP stuff .

15:09

Wow .

15:10

Plus just the good old self-image

15:13

. How to ?

15:15

Yeah , cool , love it All

15:19

. Right , let's go . We're

15:22

good with that one .

15:24

Yeah , I think we're good with that one , unless you have questions

15:26

. That , yeah , I do .

15:28

I don't ask my question , okay , okay

15:31

, so next on my side

15:33

is what I would call

15:35

mission mindset . So

15:38

talk about this a lot in my mission and movement

15:40

Facebook group , which is a free group you

15:43

can join , by the way but

15:45

the mission mindset , which is

15:47

something I adopted

15:49

when I was in the military , and

15:52

it is this mindset that , like when you have

15:55

a mission , there

15:57

are very few things that

15:59

would or should cause you to deviate

16:02

from your mission . The mission becomes very

16:04

important . You fixate your attention

16:07

on it and

16:09

it is your goal to

16:11

accomplish a mission , basically

16:14

at any expense . And so

16:17

this is something that and I talk

16:19

about with my clients and with my

16:21

students why I think

16:23

former soldiers tend

16:25

to do better than average

16:28

as entrepreneurs and business owners . In

16:30

my opinion , and I

16:32

think this is one of the big reasons because of that mission

16:35

mindset , adopting that mission

16:37

mindset . So it's definitely something I've adopted in my

16:39

life and basically

16:41

it just allows me to say stay focused and

16:43

stay on track and face

16:46

challenges in business and continue

16:48

to persevere and move forward , which is

16:50

vital if you wanna be successful as

16:52

an entrepreneur , as a coach , as a hypnotherapist , whatever

16:54

. You need to be able to persevere

16:57

and fixate your attention

16:59

on your goal and not

17:01

be easily taken off track

17:04

or off route by every little bump

17:06

in the road . Right yeah

17:08

, you think about a soldier . The

17:11

mission is to get to the objective , to

17:13

the target . Doesn't matter if the bridge

17:15

is out , doesn't matter if mom and dad

17:17

says your little coaching business is silly

17:19

.

17:20

Doesn't matter , none of this stuff matters .

17:22

I got a mission . That's all that matters .

17:24

Yeah , I like that . It's

17:26

interesting because I watched something the

17:28

other day that was kind

17:30

of talking about this and it was talking

17:33

about the entrepreneurial mindset and

17:37

anyone can become an entrepreneur , but

17:39

this particular person was talking about how

17:42

, if you have

17:44

, typically entrepreneurs

17:47

have come from a

17:50

childhood or background who is

17:52

maybe a little bit more volatile and

17:55

where they not

17:57

necessarily had to be in survival mode

18:00

but maybe they moved around a lot or

18:04

maybe they didn't have a typical upbringing

18:06

where they had to become

18:08

more resourceful or they had to

18:11

be really focused on just

18:13

getting through the next thing , those

18:16

tend to be people who become

18:18

entrepreneurs because that actually feels

18:20

really comfortable and safe for them .

18:22

Yeah .

18:23

So that's like I

18:26

think when you're an entrepreneur , that

18:28

mission mindset is just sort of like

18:30

this . It's almost like an obsessive

18:32

direction towards

18:35

a goal , because I definitely have

18:37

that . It's

18:39

not that I like moved around a lot or anything as

18:41

a kid , but like I've

18:43

always been and I noticed this in one

18:45

of my kids as well Like he just

18:48

gets an idea and he's like a

18:50

dog with a bone , like he won't stop until

18:52

he's like figured it out . And

18:55

I can be like that too , and I think a lot of entrepreneurs

18:57

have that sort of mission mindset

18:59

and if you don't have it , it's like a good thing

19:01

to know about .

19:03

Yeah , yeah .

19:05

It's like a good thing to know that you're focused

19:07

and it keeps you away from all the negative

19:10

nullies who are out there . Being like this is never

19:13

going to work . You

19:15

should go and get a regular job , or ? Why

19:17

are you still doing that ? Well

19:20

, it's because you want to like . It's like a drug , almost

19:22

.

19:24

Oh , it's like a drug Wow .

19:25

Yeah , like

19:29

the mission mindset is

19:32

almost like a drug , yeah , like I

19:34

had my fabric store . Like every time I got a sale

19:36

it was like a hit , like I was like , yes , and

19:39

then get another one , and another one , and it's just like

19:41

I want more right .

19:44

Yeah , that the dopamine

19:46

fix or whatever it is , yeah

19:49

.

19:50

Cool , so so yeah , so

19:53

that is some mindset .

19:55

That's obviously served us well . I

19:58

hope that it will serve you well if you

20:00

choose to adopt it Also

20:02

. Listeners yeah , okay

20:04

, cool , all right . So

20:07

the last one , from Alana Banks .

20:09

Last one . For me so this is something that

20:11

I just this is sort of like my number

20:14

one . I would say it's just like something

20:16

that I do every day to keep my mind

20:18

clear , to keep myself focused

20:21

, to keep myself like in the game is

20:24

hypnosis , or the tools

20:26

that I use and teach

20:28

to my clients . So

20:31

for me that's hypnosis . Like

20:33

I listen to hypnosis almost every single day

20:35

, either right first thing in the morning

20:37

, like as soon as I wake up , I literally grab my

20:39

phone and put my earbuds in and I listen to a hypnosis

20:41

. That's my favorite time , because I find

20:43

at the end of the day I'm too tired and I fall

20:46

asleep .

20:47

Yeah Cool .

20:49

So I'll listen depending on like what

20:52

I'm focusing on in the moment

20:54

, or like how I'm feeling or

20:56

where my mindset is at . I

20:58

have like a few that I like to choose from

21:00

. Right now , for example

21:02

, I'm listening to a prosperity hypnosis

21:05

. That is really

21:07

great and I just shared it , actually , with all

21:10

of the people in the Ascension Circle . So

21:13

, you want that ? Join the Ascension

21:15

Circle . You get little free things

21:18

like this and , honestly , every time I listen to

21:20

this hypnosis I

21:22

get a new client .

21:23

Wow , yeah , wow

21:26

. Can you send that over to me ?

21:27

Yes , thank you , thank you , thank

21:31

you . What is it called ? I'm

21:34

calling it a prosperity hypnosis

21:36

.

21:38

How long is it ?

21:39

It's 16 minutes 16

21:41

.

21:42

Oh , it's time to welcome

21:44

prosperity in their life . It's going to take 16

21:47

minutes , jeez .

21:50

Yeah , send that to me Okay .

21:54

Yeah , that's a good one , right Like visualization

21:56

, self-hypnosis .

21:58

Yeah .

21:58

Yeah , everybody should do that

22:00

.

22:01

Yeah , right .

22:02

Yeah .

22:03

It's . So it is honestly the most powerful

22:06

thing you could do , yeah , every

22:09

day , is just listen to hypnosis . I

22:11

had one for a while that

22:14

I was listening to . That was just around

22:16

just being me and

22:18

being my

22:21

authentic self I

22:23

hate that term , but just

22:25

really stepping into my own uniqueness

22:28

and that really helped up

22:30

level me and my messaging and

22:32

just showing up the way I wanted to show

22:34

up and being confident

22:37

about who I am and not trying to be like other

22:39

coaches out there . Yeah

22:41

, and you can make these yourself

22:43

. Some of the ones I listen to

22:45

, I just go into cracked open and I'll

22:47

listen to . I think I have one in

22:49

there around

22:52

getting calm or if I'm feeling very

22:54

stressed out or something like I'll

22:56

listen to that one . I

22:58

listen to my own recorded hypnosis . Is that

23:00

weird ? No , it's not yeah .

23:05

That can be very effective .

23:07

Yeah , I mean , your subconscious mind loves

23:09

the sound of your own voice . So I

23:12

mean , obviously it doesn't have to be you , you

23:14

don't have to record them , and sometimes

23:16

I just go on YouTube or I'll go on Spotify

23:19

and type in like what I'm looking for specifically

23:22

.

23:22

Yeah , cool yeah .

23:26

Use your tools . If you're a hypnotherapist

23:28

, hypnotize yourself every day

23:30

. It works yeah .

23:32

It really is . It's good for you . I

23:35

have a hypnosis circ weekend coming

23:37

up , oh good . I'm doing one in Feb

23:40

.

23:40

Oh , you are yeah .

23:42

February 2 to 4 . So it's a

23:44

hypnotherapy certification , but it's

23:47

also the best way to learn self-hypnosis too .

23:50

Yeah .

23:51

Yeah .

23:52

That's actually another workshop that I'm going to be

23:54

doing this year . Hypnosis yeah

23:57

Cool . I

23:59

don't know when or like how

24:01

much it's going to be or anything yet , but it's

24:03

coming .

24:04

Yeah , it'll after tomorrow , after planning day

24:06

.

24:06

After tomorrow .

24:08

All those details , yeah Cool

24:10

, all right , that's another one we agree

24:13

on , obviously . Okay , are

24:15

we ready for the last one ?

24:16

Yeah , the finale . What is it ?

24:19

It's what I call forcing

24:21

logic . One

24:27

thing , that one practice that I'll have for myself

24:29

to move myself forward is called forcing

24:31

logic , and

24:35

what this is is when I notice

24:37

that I'm

24:39

letting sort of the way I feel or my

24:41

emotions , or even just like sometimes

24:43

it's my intuition I'm letting

24:45

it take too much control , letting these

24:47

things take too much control . Where

24:49

there's something like it's like you know , where

24:52

there's something like it's like I'm

24:55

feeling stuckness or I'm feeling resistance

24:57

and it's like I know I need to be taking action

25:00

, I'm not . I'll

25:02

like , literally like pick up

25:04

control of myself and just hand it

25:06

to like the logical part of my mind and

25:08

be like just do what you know you

25:10

must be doing right now , regardless of how you

25:12

feel and I

25:14

actually had to do that today , or

25:16

something I had to do , this particular

25:19

task in my business . I was feeling

25:21

all this resistance around it because it's something I haven't

25:23

done in a while and

25:25

like and I just had to be like

25:27

okay , let's just , but

25:30

everything else on hold , what do I logically

25:33

know I must do ? Can I do it right

25:35

now ? Yes , okay , it's happening . I

25:40

call it forcing logic when I need to

25:43

guide myself through that process

25:45

and

25:47

when I learned this , I

25:50

actually learned this back

25:52

way before I had the level

25:54

of emotional regularity that I have now , way

25:57

before I learned NLP and had my first NLP

26:00

breakthrough . And I still

26:03

younger me was still like I have problems

26:05

with anxiety and a

26:08

lot of emotions that really were not

26:10

serving me , and

26:14

it became a matter of necessity

26:16

to ignore those emotions

26:18

and just let my logical mind take control

26:20

every now and then , because the emotions were just wrong . Right

26:23

, the emotions were saying stay in bed all day and

26:25

don't talk to anybody and like give up

26:27

. Right , so clearly

26:29

that was not going to be helpful , right

26:32

, so I had to force

26:34

the logical part of my mind to be like , no , maybe you should

26:36

like go to work and eat and seek

26:39

help for these challenges you're having

26:41

. And so even

26:43

now that I'm very grateful to say

26:45

I've learned about , like I said , emotional

26:48

regularity and clearing

26:50

out unresolved problems

26:52

in the unconscious mind and challenges , still

26:55

like I'm human .

26:57

Of course , every now and then .

26:58

I have these feelings , these resistances

27:01

that are not serving me . It's a really

27:03

cool ability to be able to be

27:05

like okay , let me put that on hold for a minute and

27:07

just like do the job , do the task .

27:09

Yeah , super important . I

27:12

think we can all like a benefit from forcing

27:16

logic sometimes because , like

27:18

you got to get

27:20

stuff done .

27:22

Yeah .

27:23

Right and sometimes you don't want to do the stuff that you got to

27:25

do , but you got to do it .

27:27

Yeah , and then it takes a lot of strength

27:29

. Yeah , it takes . Yeah , it's

27:31

like easier said than done , forcing

27:34

logic . It's like a

27:36

lot of times it's outside of our conscious awareness

27:38

that our emotions

27:41

are driving our behavior . So right , like

27:43

we just we're just going with the flow

27:45

and our emotions are driving us to stay still

27:47

. You know , in a lot of cases you

27:50

kind of have to have that ability to like snap

27:54

out of it , dissociate from what's happening and be like

27:56

wait a minute , like I got stuff to do

27:58

. I know what I need to do . Why

28:00

am I not doing it Right ?

28:02

Yeah .

28:02

Um , that's another skill , that's another fun

28:05

life skill to have .

28:06

Yeah , yeah Nice

28:09

, and especially for this time of year too

28:11

, because like I heard

28:13

recently that like I

28:15

think this time of January is

28:18

when everybody is sort

28:20

of give has , like kind of given up

28:22

, oh yeah .

28:23

It's like blue , blue January

28:25

or blue yeah , it's like blue

28:27

Monday , I think .

28:29

Blue Monday 2024

28:31

.

28:31

Yeah , I think that's coming .

28:33

I think actually it'll be the day this releases

28:35

.

28:36

Uh-oh , is it

28:38

yeah , blue Monday 2024

28:41

. So blue Monday is typically observed

28:44

on the third Monday in January . So

28:46

in 2024 , it's January 15th , so yeah , which

28:48

will be Monday , the day this comes out .

28:51

So , according to this random website , that I just

28:53

discovered blue .

28:54

Monday is a day to acknowledge

28:57

and

29:01

address feelings of sadness that some individuals may experience , especially

29:03

during winter

29:05

months . It serves as a reminder to prioritize mental health

29:07

. Okay , so people have kind of reframed that Blue

29:09

Monday to be a mental health awareness day

29:12

, which I think is a great idea . The concept of blue Monday

29:14

was first introduced in 2005

29:17

as part of a marketing campaign for a

29:20

travel company . What the

29:23

formula used to calculate the date takes

29:25

into account various

29:28

factors such as weather , debt , time since Christmas , et cetera

29:30

. The

29:32

scientific validity of blue Monday has been questioned

29:35

, but I think a lot of people kind of have that experience

29:37

Like

29:42

the holidays are over , we're in the middle of winter , the weather sucks . Yeah

29:44

, you've probably dropped the ball

29:46

on your worst year Just

29:50

giving up on your New Year's resolution , right

29:52

, yeah , or whatever , yeah .

29:58

So if that's the case , then

30:00

focus on this forcing logic and just be like you know . Okay

30:04

, so what ? I

30:07

didn't make it to the gym this week , but

30:09

I can go today .

30:11

Yeah .

30:11

Right , cool , cool . I

30:14

think this was a great little

30:16

inside scoop into

30:19

how we live our lives

30:21

, yeah . How

30:24

we stay motivated how we've continued

30:27

to keep it up and up level .

30:30

Really good tidbits in there , for sure , yeah .

30:32

So I hope everyone enjoyed that . If

30:35

you did , let us know by reviewing

30:38

the

30:40

podcast on Spotify or on Apple Podcasts

30:42

or even

30:44

just rating it , just giving us the like five stars . You

30:47

don't even have to write anything .

30:50

No .

30:50

I want them to write something . That's

30:53

extra work for some people .

30:56

I mean , if you're not going to rate us

30:58

at all because we're not going to rate you because

31:01

I want you to write something , then , yeah , just leave five stars

31:03

and don't write anything .

31:04

Yeah .

31:05

If it's all the same audience

31:07

and you rate five stars and you get

31:09

that little comment box there put

31:12

like Ryan's hair or like

31:15

Alana's vibe

31:17

or whatever . Nice .

31:19

I like it and

31:21

this is , I think

31:23

, where are we at ? I just wanted to

31:25

check here because , like I'm like gunning

31:27

for 100 episodes , like I'm super

31:30

excited but I don't

31:32

know where are they right now . Here we go . Okay

31:34

, so this is episode 88 . So

31:36

12 more episodes and we're at 100 . Cool

31:39

yeah Wow we're

31:41

getting close , I

31:44

know Real close . And then

31:46

we also have to decide too is this

31:48

the end of season four , and are we starting a new

31:50

season ?

31:52

Yeah , yeah , we got a start , all

31:55

right , yeah , we'll figure that out .

31:56

Yeah , all right . Well , that's it

31:59

.

32:00

Bye everyone .

32:01

Bye .
