We have a wonderful woman on the show today! So on todays show we have the awesome Samantha MacDonald, born a bred in a small town in Northamptonshire she also has roots linking to Scotland! Family is her priority, she has 3 step children, 2 dogs and a cat. A big influence on her life was her father. She always tries to do her best to support and help others in any way she can and you’ll definitely get that sense of her in today’s show.

She is extremely proud to work for the RS group, having started out life as a warehouse operative, she has a strong work ethic and wholehearted believes you can do anything you set your mind too.

She’s the proud chair of Elevate which is their gender ERG (employee resource group) at RS working together with a committed committee of individuals, and is also part of the women in sales forum for RS UK.

On today’s show we chat about the importance of ERGs or Employee resource groups or internal networks as they are sometimes called and how they can make a huge difference in terms of companies’ inclusive cultures but also into impacting the bottom line, you know these networks make a huge difference. If your organisation doesn’t have an ERG or maybe you do have one but it could do better then this is the episode for you!
