Rachel grew up in Brisbane and grew up with older brothers. From a very young age she decided to become a pilot and after turning 17 years she old got accepted into a Bachelor Of Science, majoring in aviation. During this time Rachel’s dad got diagnosed with bowel cancer and was just given months to live. 8 years later she lost her brother and later on her husband who also was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Despite all the diversity Rachel and her family have been through she is big on using gratitude as a tool of healing and is currently writing her book “Gifts From Grief” to share her experience to help others.
