Plot: B+Voice Acting: A+Dialog: AProduction: ADirecting:ASound Design: A+"A lie is just a great story that someone ruined with the truth." Barney Stinson, How I Met Your MotherSo what is Nora about? This is from the website "These audio files were emailed to us with no explanation. The sender has not responded to any questions....we believe the creator... is acting good faith. The woman who calls herself NORA is investigating a strange series of events....'NORA is an unreliable narrator podcast. I am not giving anything away because the lead asks us practically in the first 10 minutes "Do you believe me?" You will recognize that the plot is familiar, but only after the story has finish. The dialog, sound design and voice acting work together to involve your entire brain so there is little left for anything else. I was impressed by how well everything worked together, even the commercials (in the first episodes they say all the commercials are in the public domain but by the last episode, I began to wonder if that was really true.....). If you are like me, you will binge all seven episodes (2.5 hours) and be disappointed when it ends because it was so good. As I said above, the voice acting is superb but my favorite was the detective. I wanted to find out who the voice actor was so I went to Shadeaux Public Radiohttps://www.shadeauxpublicradio.com/ who produces the podcast. There wasn't a cast list so I don't know who they are but I would love to find out what else they have done. If you know who they are, let me know.Disclaimer: "Those who can, do. Those that can't, teach. Those who can't teach, criticize" I am in the later category and an amateur at best. Therefore, feel free to disagree and post you own review. Just don't tell me there isn't a podcast called NORA, I don't think my brain can take it.......
