In this episode we don Hawaiian shirts, sip coconut drinks, and review the 1953 movie from Here to Eternity. This movie was widely recommended to audiences who didn't enjoy the 2001 movie Pearl Harbor and features an iconic beach scene. From Here to Eternity was based on a novel written by James Jones in 1951. This movie stars Donna Reed, Frank Sinatra, Burt Lancaster, and Montgomery Clift and was directed by Fred Zinneman.
Today we honor Ralph A. Gastelum, for his service in the US Marine Corps during the Korean war. He participated in the Inchon landing, fought in the battle of Seoul, and battled during the spring offensive of 1951.
