Our episodes on the topic of the the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan between the years 1979-1989 were recorded roughly six weeks before the February 24th Russian invasion of Ukraine. Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine. 

Furthermore, our hearts go out to the citizens of Russia who actively oppose this invasion and have been arrested and fined for their protests. We are with you all in spirit humans and pray for a swift end to the heartbreak, devastation, and confusion inevitably created by war. We stand with Ukraine and call out for peace.

Today we honor Alfred N. born 1921 and enlisted in 1939. He served in the 104th artillery for 3 years. He passed in 1990 in Rockport Texas. We thank you for your service.
