Today Mr. Hoffmann is honored to have an incredibly accomplished woman – Jaclyn Arndt, Firefighter/EMT, one of only four (4) paid staff members of Homer Volunteer Fire Department, Homer, AK. An incredible personality who you will realize in moments, she is one who never backs down from a committed goal and merely laughs at any challenge only to demand more! An incredibly accomplished lady who trained two years to compete in the IRONMAN as her training ground to persevere in her tenth year in the Fire Service and at FIRST ATTEMPT, to WIN the grueling 350-mile Iditarod Trail Invitation.
Yes, a lady at age 31, with absolutely zero prior experience in the Cross-Country Skiing (division), dragging her sled at 50 miles per day, that her average 19 hours of travel per day was her only shortfall of the record. However, her extensive story traversing the world’s roughest country under potentially worst conditions and how she beat her second place yet seasoned contender by 14 hours will keep you engaged longer!
Again, at FIRST TRY!
Please join us today as you will not want to miss this presentation. A fantastic inspiration for all of us, to cause us all to push our limits, the true heart of every First Responder and Military personnel who are genuinely committed to service.
