In today's episode, we have Paola Calvo, co-director of the documentary film LUCHADORAS, with us on Not Your Basic Latina to talk about the inspiration behind the documentary and what their team learned during the filming of this amazing documentary. LUCHADORAS is an intimate portrait of three courageous female wrestlers or Luchadoras from Ciudad Juarez. Despite being surrounded by machismo they redefine the image of women in Mexico.
