The man who in the past year had killed 2 other women, and a week prior, attempted to kill a third, reassured Sarah he was not. She would go out with him, and never come back. This is the case of the murders of Sarah Butler, Robin West, Joann Brown, and attempted murder of Tiffany Taylor, and the case against Khalil Wheeler-Weaver.
