I don't normally dwell on some of my less happy childhood experiences. Today I'm making an exception. It's not easy for me to share these personal stories, but it's important that I do, so that you get to know me a bit better. I'd also love it if hearing what happened to me made others a bit kinder, so that other plus-size youngsters don't experience what I did.
