Warning: Some may disagree with parts of the discussion ... and that's OK.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis, the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe."

A little honesty -- this is not the usual NW NERD Podcast episode. While it's not the focus, the discussion in this episode deals with politics and other points of disagreement. There are a range of guests in this episode, and none of them align. People are going to speak their minds, and express opinions. But to be clear, that is not what this episode is about. It's about all of us.

It's hard not to notice the division and the toxic nature of many interactions these days, from social media to real life. Disagreeing usually devolves into demonizing. We're going to talk with people who say otherwise. And we're going to pull in some pop culture lessons to remind us how to rise above division, disagree without demonizing, and how we can all be civil ... if we choose.
