As the gaming world continues to reckon with its new state of “buy now, think later,” we get a glimpse into what some of those thoughts are. Speaking with Brazilian regulators, PlayStation holds nothing back when talking about its views on rival Xbox’s purchase of Activision Blizzard. Perhaps needless to say, it isn’t happy. It’s very rare we get such a behind-the-scenes look at how a company feels about any given deal, and PlayStation’s sound bite was heard around the industry. Xbox wasted no time responding to their rival’s candor in kind. Buckle up because while the audiences of each platform are playing nice, for the most part, the people running the show clearly have no love for one another.

To no one’s surprise, a new GTA is well in development. But to everyone’s surprise, it will star a female lead for the first time in its modern 3D era.
