Oddcast: Movies, Music & Gaming

A Society, Culture and TV podcast
 5 people rated this podcast
Join childhood buddies Sam and Dan as they head left off the highway for a chat through movies, music and games on the fringes of modern culture.

Sam LeGassick (The IT Crowd, MTV, Disney) and Dan Gallagher (Dreadful Discs, CELLS, Pelican Daughters) have been friends for over 30 years. They share a mutual appreciation for what lies out on the edges of the mainstream. Join them on their journey as they uncover the good, the bad and the intentionally ugly, and rip it all apart.

Each episode features a different subject and don't worry if you don't know anything about it, that's part of the fun. We will make sure we fill you in before we delve into the nitty gritty. Just sit back and enjoy the oddities.

I adore this podcast. I think it's severely underrated. The host is a wonderful storyteller and the story itself is creepy and fantastic. I love the attention to detail. I really think this is one of the better horror podcasts out there. If you like horror stories/creepy pasta and you have a little extra patience for a long, in depth story, this is the pod for you. The only downside is it can be a bit difficult to keep track of so many characters, but the host does great refresher episodes at the start of new seasons. Perhaps a brief written guide with character names/descriptions might help!
There was a lot going on. Not sure how well I followed it, which I think was due to the writer being all over the place. Just creepy enough to make me finish it though.
